Falcom announced in its latest financial report that it plans to release several games for different platforms by September 2026, including a PlayStation 5 version of Ys X: Proud Nordics.
The game Ys X: Proud Nordics was initially released in Japan on July 31, 2025, for the Switch 2. It then became available on both Switch 2 and PC (through Steam) in Asia on August 21, 2025.
NIS America originally planned to release the game for Switch 2 and PC in western regions in early 2026. Now, according to Falcom, a PlayStation 5 version will also be available in the west. It’s currently unclear if the PS5 version will launch at the same time as the Switch 2 and PC versions.
