Falcom is launching Ys X: Proud Nordics for PlayStation 5 in Japan on February 19, 2026. The game will cost 8,580 yen, and you can pre-order it now from stores such as Amazon and Biccamera.
The first copies of the physical game will come with a bonus music CD called “Ys X: Proud Nordics Complete Additional Songs Collection (Reprint),” which includes all 12 new songs from the game.
The game Ys X: Proud Nordics was initially released in Japan on July 31, 2025, for the Switch 2. It then became available on both Switch 2 and PC (via Steam) in Asia on August 21, 2025.
NIS America originally stated they would launch the game on Switch 2 and PC in western regions in early 2026. Falcom has now confirmed a PlayStation 5 version will also be available in the west at that time.
