Zach Bryan found his Oklahoma smokeshow.
A year after splitting publicly from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, the singer known for “I Remember Everything” announced he has married Samantha Leonard. The wedding took place in Spain.
Zach shared a photo on Instagram of himself with Samantha, who was wearing a white wedding dress and holding a glass of wine. He captioned the December 31st post with the message, “Tougher than the rest.”
Online videos showed the 29-year-old carrying his new wife to a green convertible decorated with a “Just Married” sign on the trunk and tin cans hanging from the bumper.
TopMob News has reached out to Zach’s reps for comment and has not yet heard back.
Before his wedding, he posted a picture of the men who would be standing by his side. Zach, looking sharp in a tuxedo alongside his stylish friends, used lyrics from the Black Eyed Peas song “I Got a Feeling” as the caption.
Dating rumors began for Samantha, 28, and the singer of “Pink Skies” when she posted a photo of them together at the Running of the Bulls in Spain back in July. She then shared another picture a month later showing them relaxing together on a boat.
Okay, so Zach – you might remember he was married to Rose Madden for a bit back in 2020 and 2021 – has officially gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend! He shared a really sweet birthday message for her back in October, which was adorable. It’s always fun to see people finding happiness, and it seems like he definitely has!
He celebrated Samantha Marie’s birthday on Instagram with a playful message, acknowledging both her adventurous spirit and a bit of chaos. He lovingly highlighted her incredible ability to do everything from running with the bulls to more lighthearted antics, and praised her unique talents – like hiking six miles in Chanel flats, skydiving in the Alps, and outfishing him, all in one day.
Zach’s path to finding love again wasn’t easy. He’d previously shared that he was going through a very difficult time when he and Brianna separated in October 2024.
He shared on Instagram that his mother had always loved him without condition, and he would always be grateful for that. He also explained that he and she both felt it was best if they lived separate lives.
I’m absolutely reeling! Apparently, Brianna was totally shocked by Zach’s announcement. She says he never even told her they were breaking up – she found out through his social media post! Can you believe it? It’s like he didn’t even have the decency to tell her himself. I feel so bad for her; it sounds incredibly hurtful.

She mentioned in a YouTube video last October that she was surprised to see the post appear. She explained that he hadn’t contacted her beforehand, either by text or phone call.
When the Barstool Sports team closed ranks to support her—including a diss track from Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards targeting her ex—Zach ended up having to address online criticism aimed at his friends.
He posted on Instagram in January, saying that while he’s willing to accept criticism, people should leave his friends alone. He stated he’s strong enough to handle negativity himself, but his friends don’t deserve it as they’ve always been supportive and kind to him.
He said he was happy with his life and had earned it through a lot of hard work. He acknowledged that not everyone might agree with that, but asked people to stop harassing his friends online. He reminded everyone that they are all human beings.

Rumors started swirling online that Zach Bryan and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia might have split up. People noticed they were posting fewer pictures together, and many commenters openly shared their suspicions.
Brianna addressed rumors about a breakup on the October 2, 2024, episode of the BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, admitting, “It was a bad week.” She explained that after a week of not posting about each other online, fans started speculating. She clarified that her partner was dealing with personal issues, they briefly separated, but are now back together and doing well.
Zach had already gotten on Dave’s bad side by jokingly mentioning Taylor Swift (though he did apologize). However, Dave, who runs Barstool Sports and jokingly calls himself the biggest Taylor Swift fan, let it slide because Zach was dating Brianna.

Before news of Brianna and Zach’s breakup became public, Brianna shared advice against dating celebrities in an interview on Haliey Welch’s Talk Tuah podcast.
Brianna shared on the BFFs podcast that she previously swore off dating anyone famous, stating she ‘literally never wanted to.’ However, she admitted on the October 22, 2024 episode – the same day news of her breakup became public – that it unexpectedly happened anyway.
Brianna admitted she wasn’t sure why she’d changed her mind, but she now felt strongly that people shouldn’t date celebrities.
You know, from my experience, I always advise people to think twice about dating someone who’s really well-known. It just adds a whole extra layer of complexity to the relationship – honestly, it can be a lot to handle emotionally.

I remember when Brianna posted something really vulnerable on Instagram back on October 21st, 2024. It was a picture of a handwritten note, and honestly, it was full of some incredibly raw and powerful emotions. It really stuck with me.
Eventually, you’ll realize life continues whether you’re ready or not. Time will pass and the world will keep turning, even when you wish it would stop. You might feel like life is unfair because it’s moving forward while you feel stuck, and you’ll likely search for things to blame. But one day, you’ll wake up and understand that life isn’t being cruel—you are the one holding yourself back. The world keeps going, hoping to show you that you can move forward too.
All was revealed the next day.

Just under an hour after Zach posted on Instagram on October 22, 2024, Brianna responded with a post of her own. She wrote that she was shocked and hurt, and would be taking a break from social media to focus on healing. She plans to return and share her thoughts when she feels ready.
She expressed her deep affection, thanking everyone for their kind messages. She reassured them that they are loved and that things will ultimately be alright.
In a YouTube video posted on October 22, 2024, Brianna explained that she had been crying for five days straight when she saw Zach’s post and the reaction to it. She recorded the video from her bathroom floor, describing it as a place where she felt some comfort.
She was completely surprised to see the post appear. He hadn’t contacted her at all – no texts, no calls. She woke up to a flood of messages asking if she was alright, which initially made her fear the worst, like something had happened to her father.
She repeated that she was completely shocked and hurt, saying, “How can you pour your heart and soul into someone only to be thrown away so quickly? It’s incredibly painful.”
Brianna explained she wasn’t ready to discuss what happened right away, but she would eventually. She and her partner had broken up the day before, and she wanted to process her feelings privately before making any public statements. She needed to deal with it as a person first.
All she wanted at the moment, she said, was to “just be hurt for a week and lay in bed.”

After Brianna publicly discussed their split, Dave responded by posting a link to Taylor Swift’s song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” on YouTube, seemingly dedicating it to her.
A friend took a screenshot of that and posted it to Brianna’s Instagram Story on October 24th, with a message saying Brianna had approved it. The message explained she’s taking a break from social media but will return on Wednesday to connect with close friends. It also said she’s currently with loved ones, and that her friend had been sharing supportive messages with her, which she appreciated.

Okay, so everyone was saying me and Grace were fighting because I didn’t post a ‘Happy Birthday’ message for her online? Seriously?! I had to jump on my Instagram Story on October 30th and just explain things. It’s like, can’t we just be friends without everyone assuming drama? I needed everyone to know we’re totally good!
Brianna decided she needed to prioritize her real-life relationships over online interactions. She’s working on setting personal boundaries and keeping some aspects of her life private.
She recently shared that she’s decided to keep her personal life off the internet, explaining that online negativity often harms relationships. She specifically mentioned that she privately wished her close friend, Grace – whom she’s known since she was fifteen – a happy birthday.
In December 2025, Grace announced her departure from Barstool, following a significant falling out with Brianna.
BFFs hosts Dave and Josh found a creative outlet for their frustrations, releasing a diss track they called “Smallest Man.”
A song uploaded to YouTube in November 2024 opened with the lines, ‘I said trust me, caught your pants on fire.’ It went on to accuse someone of dishonesty and bad behavior, referencing dating apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Raya, and predicting they’d soon face consequences and need to redeem themselves.
The song was briefly taken down due to copyright claims by Warner Music Group, but it was put back online the same day.
As a huge Zach Bryan fan, I was honestly shocked by how Warner Music handled the recent situation. Dave made a great point on X – their crisis management was a total mess! It felt like they were panicking, desperately trying to scrub #smallestman from the internet. And the funniest part? Dave, who runs an internet company, pointed out they basically ensured the song would now hit number one! It was a really clumsy response, and Dave was spot on in calling them out.
They hinted at the new song on Instagram on November 5th. When someone suggested they were avoiding tagging Zach, Brianna jumped into the conversation and simply stated, “We’ve all blocked him.”

Zach announced his song “High Road” would be released on November 7, 2024, and shared an update on his work, seemingly without responding to anything Brianna had said.
He shared on Instagram that he had recently visited his mother’s gravesite for the first time in over a year while he was in Tulsa.
Oh my god, he told her! He actually told her everything! He said he had to stop touring because he got into a masters program in Paris next year – Paris! Can you believe it? Then he just laid it all out – being back in Oklahoma, all his amazing friends in New York and those incredible nights they all had, howling at the moon! He talked about all the laughter with his band, five whole years of it, and even the calluses on his fingers from playing, and every single tear he’s shed. And then, getting featured in Rolling Stone! But the best part? He told her about just sitting on the porch, swinging with his sister. It was everything. Absolutely everything.
I wrote the chorus for this song a month or so ago, and finally finished it when I realized how much I have to be grateful for. It felt like the right time to share it with you all. Thank you for listening to ‘This World’s a Giant’ last night, and thank you to everyone who supports me – those who have been there for me through everything. It feels like my past struggles, my ‘Quiet Dreams,’ have become overwhelming, but I’m in a good place now and I want to be there for you too, to help you through difficult times.

Brianna has alleged that her relationship with Zach was emotionally abusive.
Speaking on the November 7th, 2024 episode of BFFs, she shared with Dave and Josh that the past year had been the most difficult of her life, explaining she was still frightened while discussing the abuse she experienced.
The 25-year-old said her brain had been “rewired” from being afraid to make her ex mad.
Brianna explained that he convinced her she was to blame for everything. He cut her off from her friends and family, and wouldn’t allow her to express herself. Ultimately, he eroded her self-esteem and made her dislike the things she once loved about herself.
Zach had “love bombed her,” she said, and she ignored multiple red flags.
After a few months of things going well, he began to emotionally abuse her, making her feel completely dependent on him and repeatedly tearing her down.
During the show, Brianna claimed Zach’s team tried to buy her silence about their relationship by offering her $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Brianna explained that although she didn’t want money connected to her former partner, her refusal wasn’t simply about avoiding revealing private information about them.
Brianna explained that she wouldn’t allow her past experiences to be used to shield someone who had harmed her, stating, “I’m not giving up my story to protect someone who hurt me.”
TopMob News reached out to Zach for comment but has not heard back.
Following the recording, Dave posted on X, saying he understands people have differing opinions about Bri, but after the latest episode, he believes everyone has to respect her skill and determination.
After the episode aired on November 7, 2024, Brianna shared on Instagram that she felt confident in her choices. She explained that she believed holding back some details was also the right move, implying viewers understood why.
She shared that the messages she received made her cry, and she was deeply moved to learn how many others had similar experiences with abuse. She pledged to use her voice to support them, encouraging anyone facing abuse – even from someone they know – to speak up and stand up for themselves. She added that it had only been two weeks since everything happened, and she was still working through the trauma and healing alongside everyone else. She expressed her love and support repeatedly.
A few hours later, she posted a video taken by someone in the audience during a live performance of “Smallest Man” on Barstool’s Chicks in the Office tour. The video focused on the line, “How lucky is Bri to be free of ZB.”
Brianna denied that Dave offered her $10 million to spill her guts on the BFFs pod for…clicks?
In a TikTok posted on November 9, 2024, she stated that Dave hadn’t paid her anything. She dismissed the idea that her recent comments were a full disclosure, explaining that she’d acted with grace and subtly hinted at the truth. She added that if people didn’t understand her message, she wouldn’t bother explaining it further.
She added that she’s currently losing money because of all the expenses – storage fees, moving costs, and frequent flights to New York to search for an apartment.

Pointing to the tattoo on her arm that read “How lucky are we” – a lyric from Zach’s song “28” – she emphasized, “I got that tattoo first! It was my idea. Now that we both have it, it’s fine, and I definitely won’t get it removed.”

Zach hadn’t publicly addressed Brianna’s claims of emotional abuse, and she believed she knew the reason. Although he remained silent on the matter, he did continue to post on social media, sometimes with content that seemed vaguely connected to the situation, and he temporarily disabled comments on his posts.
You know, from where I’m standing, it seems like he’s staying silent because if he did respond, he’d have to flat-out deny everything. And honestly, I’m ready to share all the proof – the videos and recordings – if he does. I was talking about this on my podcast, BFFs, recently, and it’s just a frustrating situation.
Honestly, the way he didn’t respond just screamed volumes to me. It was like… the silence was the loudest thing ever! And it totally confirmed what I already knew – it just showed me exactly who he is as a person. It was so telling, you know?
Brianna added that she could have revealed more information immediately, but she was hoping Zach would tell the truth himself.
She said she never gives up on people. She explained that her attempt to reach him – to make him understand the impact of his actions and seek help – was a last resort.

Dave has heard enough.
The 47-year-old announced his departure from BFFs at the end of the year during the November 14, 2024 episode of The Unnamed Show. He explained that he found the show’s topics uninteresting, as he was given them with no prior research and felt uncomfortable criticizing unfamiliar 18-year-olds. He stated he simply didn’t enjoy that aspect of the show.
He definitely lets you know when he’s having fun criticizing someone, and his current conversations with Brianna and Josh are still lively and energetic.
He explained that Josh and Bri will be taking over, as the project has been very successful. However, he feels it’s time for him to move on to something new, believing he’s done all he can with it.

Brianna revealed she rejected a romantic advance from someone she admired because she was already in a relationship with a man who proposed to her while also being unfaithful. She didn’t mention any names.
She revealed on TikTok, in a post from November 15, 2024, that a celebrity she has a crush on messaged her a few months ago. She said she turned him down because she was already in a relationship, and found out later that her boyfriend was cheating on her.
Brianna revealed in the comments that she discovered he’d been cheating on her throughout their relationship. She said he was even messaging other women while he was proposing to her, which she found particularly shocking and funny.

Brianna shared a TikTok video from November 17, 2024, showing herself with friends—including someone she’d mentioned was from Australia—watching the sunrise in Brooklyn. She captioned it, ‘Sometimes all you need is a NYC sunrise and some good pals,’ and set the video to Taylor Swift’s ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.’
I finally got approved for an apartment after weeks of searching in New York City,” she shared in a TikTok video posted on November 17, 2024. “I celebrated with a friend from Australia – we went to Central Park, got drinks, and then met up with other friends.
When someone commented that she responded quickly, Brianna explained that she had just found out about being cheated on throughout her entire relationship.

Responding to rumors about a new relationship, Brianna jokingly asked in a video posted on November 18th, “Do you really think I’ll ever date again?” She quickly added, “I’m currently in intense therapy.”
She explained that she’d mentioned in a previous video she was spending time with someone who was returning to Australia, and she didn’t expect to see him again. She then asked why she wasn’t allowed to enjoy herself and have a little romance.
And for now, Brianna—fresh from lightening her locks—is turning the tables.
She shared on TikTok in November 2024 that she’s experiencing being single for the first time as an adult and absolutely loves it. She playfully explained that she’s enjoying dating and then ending things with men, especially those in fields traditionally dominated by men.

On January 9, 2025, Zach used his Instagram Story to complain that people were online harassing and insulting his friends.
I’m not looking for pity, but attacking my friends is a really awful thing to do. I’ve worked incredibly hard for the life I have, and I enjoy it, regardless of what anyone thinks of me. Please stop harassing my friends online.
Okay, so Zach Bryan finally spoke out, but not really about Briana, which is infuriating! He just acted like he doesn’t even care about all the drama and rumors swirling around online. He said he’s completely unfazed by all the ‘fake stuff’ people are saying about him, and honestly, it just makes me even MORE obsessed. Like, play it cool, Zach, but PLEASE address it! It’s killing me!
Zach responded to his critics by stating that attacking the people he cares about is where he draws the line. He feels he’s made his point and remains proud of who he is and how he’s handled the situation.

Brianna recently told Sports Illustrated that she’s starting to feel like herself again now that a difficult person is no longer in her life. She described feeling as though a ‘doom cloud’ had been lifted.
A few months later, she mentioned that women were now expressing romantic interest in her. She jokingly wondered on her podcast in January if this meant she was actually a lesbian, and if that explained why her past relationships with men hadn’t worked out. While it wasn’t something she’d considered before, she acknowledged it might be a possibility for the future.
Brianna admitted to feeling a bit behind the curve and nervous about going on her first date with a woman. She joked to Elite Daily in March, “I’m 25, and this is my first time? It feels like everyone in New York has already been there and done that!”
She was still in therapy and reminded herself that it had only been four months since starting. She still had difficult days and was still dealing with PTSD, so she wasn’t sure how much longer the process would take.

Fans believed Zach and Brianna had resolved their issues, but the country music star stirred up trouble again. He posted a video on Instagram on August 4, 2025, showing him burning a Barstool Sports flag.
The video featured the song “Bitin’ List” by Tyler Childers, where he sings a blunt message: “To put it simply, I really don’t like you – not a single thing about you.”
