Walton Goggins’ role as the Comedian in “Watchmen” is considered a standout performance in his career. He previously described receiving the offer from director Zack Snyder as incredibly surprising, saying it felt like a dream come true (according to The Georgia Straight).
Haley recently shared his thoughts on his experience with the film and also discussed why a sequel never happened. He told CinemaBlend he would have loved to see the story continue, believing the film’s success could have led to further installments or different takes on the Watchmen universe. However, he explained that disagreements over rights between Warner Bros. and Paramount ultimately stopped any plans for expansion.
