Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union‘s daughter thinks their 2025 Met Gala looks were a slam dunk.
Zaya Wade expressed her delight over her stepmother and father’s fashionable appearance on the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 5th. On May 6th, I happened to catch a live feed on Instagram Stories of Dwyane and Gabrielle, both 43 and 52 respectively, gracefully posing for cameras in their stylish black-and-white Prada outfits. These ensembles perfectly complemented the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, and I couldn’t help but admire their fashionable coordination from my screen as a dedicated follower.
“Alright, show up and show out!” Zaya excitedly shouted over the clip. “This is what we wanna see.”
Moreover, the 17-year-old was excited to see her father have his turn in the spotlight too. As she briefly separated from Gabrielle, she said to Dwyane, “Go ahead, Dad, go for it alone.
“Oh, this is so cute,” Zaya continued. “Oh, he feeling himself.”
However, Dwyane wasn’t the only one who received a heartfelt mention. He is a father to Zaire (23), Xavier (11), and Kaavia (6), as well as a guardian to his nephew Dahveon (21).
Additionally, Zaya shared a touching sentiment towards Gabrielle. She wore a bold Tiffany & Co necklace that stood out against her elegant black floor-length dress featuring a striking white train.
The teenager admired the necklace on-screen, remarking, “That’s beautiful,” as it resembled the accessory she desired for her own parents, who happen to be Siovaughn Funches.
Furthermore, it’s clear that Zaya gave their approval multiple times by saying, “I approve, I approve, I approve.” They also expressed that the Met Gala attire represented them personally by stating, “They’re representing for me.
