Khai Malik has the feels for K-pop.
Zayn Malik posted an adorable picture of his daughter, who is 5 years old and shares a parent with Gigi Hadid, excitedly enjoying a TWICE concert during their ‘This Is For’ tour. It looks like she’s a big fan!
Khai was spotted in a concert suite on March 4th, sharing a photo on Instagram. She wore a sparkly pink outfit, complete with a skirt and matching sneakers. While a friend, also dressed in a sparkly pink outfit, watched the show, Khai excitedly danced, throwing her arms up and swinging her hair.
Zayn shared a cute photo and thanked the K-pop group TWICE, tagging their Instagram account and saying they gave his friends an amazing night.
It’s not surprising Khai enjoys K-pop, considering his father, Zayn, took him to a Blackpink concert in New York City last July. Zayn and Gigi Hadid, who dated on and off for six years before splitting in October 2021, attended the concert together as part of a family outing.
The 33-year-old posted on his Instagram Stories, thanking @Blackpinkofficial with a photo of him and his child enjoying the concert. He wrote, “Me & Khai loved it.”
Khai’s love of music isn’t the only thing she gets from her dad. Zayn shared that she’s also shown a talent for playing instruments, specifically percussion.
He said on The Zach Sang Show in 2024 that while she’s not a professional drummer, she has a natural feel for rhythm and could really improve with practice.
I’ve always known Liam Payne has a great voice, but he’s so humble! He recently said he doesn’t deserve all the praise for how well Khai sings. He pointed out that Gigi Hadid – who’s now with Bradley Cooper – is incredibly musical too, and Khai definitely gets that from her mom as well. It’s lovely to see him give credit where it’s due!
Okay, so I found out her mom is amazing at Guitar Hero drums, seriously! And I immediately thought, ‘Wait, maybe that’s where she gets it from!’ Because honestly, I was terrible. Like, completely awful. And Gigi? She would destroy me every single time. It’s so funny, right? I’m the musician, and she was beating me at a video game! I just… I can’t get over it!
