Following the sad passing of Michael Mosley, Zoe Ball, Roman Kemp, and Clive Myrie will host a new version of his show, Just One Thing.
Originally a hit podcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds, the show explores Michael Mosley’s idea that making small adjustments to your daily life can significantly improve your health and happiness.
Sadly, the series was cancelled after just two episodes when the journalist and broadcaster died in June 2024 while hiking on the Greek island of Symi.
This new show, arriving on BBC One and iPlayer later this month, features a team following the advice of Dr. Mosley to share simple ways we can all improve our health.
Each presenter will host four episodes, focusing on subjects they care about. They’ll travel to different locations around the UK, meet someone who’s helped improve their health, and share a simple tip – anything from drinking tea and doing push-ups to taking a break from technology, according to the BBC.
Zoe Ball is a well-known radio presenter, most famous for being the first woman to permanently host the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, a job she did from 2019 to 2024.
Kemp hosts the popular Capital Breakfast show on radio and TV. Myrie is a well-known journalist and presenter of BBC news programs.

The new series was announced back in September.
In a statement, Ball shared that Michael inspired countless people with his genuine curiosity and dedication to improving the health and happiness of others.
I’m thrilled to be involved and excited to connect with people across the country. I’m looking forward to sharing some helpful and unexpected advice that can improve their lives.
Myrie shared that Michael had a remarkable ability to explain complex medical information in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. His work positively impacted the health of millions, and Myrie expressed her honor in being involved with this project.
According to Kemp, Michael had a remarkable ability to explain science in a way that everyone could understand. He feels honored to contribute to a project that builds on Michael’s legacy. ‘Just One Thing’ demonstrates that even minor changes can have a significant impact, and Kemp hopes viewers will learn practical, easy-to-implement tips.
Just One Thing will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on Monday 23 March, 2026.
