Zoey Deutch doesn’t need a set-up—she’s already found the one.

Actress Zoey Deutch shared that she and boyfriend Jimmy Tatro have been engaged since June 2025, but they’ve kept it a secret until now.

Zoey announced on Instagram on September 28th that she and her fiancé are engaged after three months of being together, sharing photos of a romantic beach proposal.

The photos revealed a beautifully arranged romantic picnic – complete with a blanket, pillows, lanterns, and white flowers – where the YouTuber proposed. She said yes! Jimmy presented a stunning cushion-cut diamond ring with a simple gold band, and she happily shared a cute selfie showing it off.

Everyone was so happy for the couple when they announced they were dating on Valentine’s Day in 2021.

Actress Lili Reinhart celebrated with a message of “Congratulations, beautiful angel!!”, while Vanessa Hudgens simply wrote, “Sooo happy for yooooou.”

Camila Morrone, Busy Philipps, Julianne Hough, and Maude Apatow also offered their congratulations online.

Even though Zoey and Jimmy are deeply in love, they don’t always agree on things. The actress, whose mother is Lea Thompson and father is director Howard Deutch, has said they have very different personalities.

She explained on the *Betches U Up?* podcast in 2022 that she’d find it incredibly boring to date someone who always agreed with her and had the same opinions. In fact, she’s currently dating someone who is very different from her.

The actor from *Theater Camp*, who had previously been romantically connected to Emily Osment, also cherishes his relationship with Zoey, publicly calling her “my favorite person” in a birthday message that same year.

The *Back to the Future* star shared a heartfelt message, saying, “Thank you for always making me laugh, even when things were tough, and for being there to share my happiest moments. I love you.”

As this couple gets ready to get married, they don’t have to search for examples of successful, lasting marriages – they likely already know some!
