Considering the successful launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 last year – with its strong lineup of exclusive games, re-releases, and hits like Death Stranding 2 and The Alters – it’s surprising that there isn’t as much excitement building for June 2026. The typical gaming showcases are almost here, and we’ll likely see some surprise game announcements, but what major titles can we actually expect to play? Let’s take a look at the ten biggest game releases planned for June, starting with…
BrokenLore: FOLLOW
So, after messing with my head in UNFOLLOW, Serafini Productions is back with another BrokenLore game, FOLLOW. Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on! It looks like Anne is returning, and she’s still dealing with a ton of really heavy stuff – problems with her mom, being bullied, feeling like she’s not good enough, the whole nine yards. And on top of all that, she had to face some seriously creepy things, like a giant, silenced head wandering around and this terrifying, living doll called Mini Anne. If this is really the last we’ll see of Anne before they switch gears to that climbing horror game, Ascend, I really hope she can finally find some peace when BrokenLore: FOLLOW comes out on June 1st for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2)
The second game in this remake series offers a significantly larger world to discover, with more complex combat and plenty of side activities. You’ll also see more of Sephiroth! After leaving Midgar, Cloud and his team travel through vast, open areas filled with enemies – perfect for trying out the new team-up attacks and powerful Summons. If you’re primarily interested in the story, the game includes features like unlimited health and magic, easier ways to get weapons and experience, letting you focus on exploring and connecting with both familiar and new characters, such as Red XIII and Cait Sith. Currently available on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on June 3rd, players will finally be able to join the adventure.
Gothic 1 Remake

While many games have tried to copy it, nothing has ever quite matched the feeling of the original Gothic. Now, on June 5th, Alkimia Interactive is bringing this classic game back with updated graphics, more quests, new skills, and improved combat. But don’t worry, the heart of the game – exploring the unique world of the Colony, choosing your allies, and discovering its rich stories – is still there. If you enjoy open-world RPGs that let you play your way, Gothic 1 Remake might be for you when it releases on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions
If you enjoy games like No Man’s Sky but want something a bit more focused on teamwork and adventure, Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions might be perfect for you. Launching in early access on June 11th for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, this game moves away from building and terraforming, and instead focuses on exploring planets and completing missions with other players. You’ll join up with a crew through the ESS Starseeker to travel to different worlds, gather resources, and earn loot. The challenge? You have limited oxygen and can’t rely on combat, so you’ll need to work together to survive, fend off creatures, and explore dangerous environments, even diving into the unknown. With improved features and regular monthly updates planned, it could be a great co-op game to play in space.
EA Sports UFC 6
Like other sports games from EA Sports such as FC, Madden, and College Football, you generally know what to expect with a new UFC game. UFC 6 introduces a couple of new modes. “Hall of Legends” is similar to the Showcase mode in WWE 2K, blending gameplay with real footage from iconic UFC fights. “The Legacy” lets you build a fighter’s career from the very beginning, aiming for the championship with a story-driven experience. The classic Career Mode also returns, giving you even more control over your fighter’s journey, including the ability to win and defend two championships. Launching on June 19th for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, UFC 6 has the potential to shake things up and offer something fresh, just like EA Sports games often do.
The 7th Guest Remake

Old-school adventure games could be really difficult, but it’s great to see recent remakes successfully recreate that classic feel with modern graphics. The 7th Guest Remake, based on the popular 1993 game, delivers the same intriguing mystery. You play as the seventh guest, exploring a creepy mansion and investigating what happened to the previous six, all while facing off against the sinister Henry Strauf. The game is full of puzzles that reveal the mansion’s secrets and bring you closer to solving the mystery. What’s particularly interesting is that the remake still uses real actors filmed in 3D environments, but with newly recorded footage that looks much clearer. The 7th Guest Remake comes out on June 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and if you enjoy adventure and mystery games with a hint of horror, this could be a great addition to your collection.
#DRIVE Rally (Consoles)
It looks like we won’t be getting a new Sega Rally game anytime soon, so DRIVE Rally is a great alternative. Currently out on PC, it’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on June 18th. The game features six large environments and 25 vehicles you can customize across three different types. Competitive players can test their skills in Championships and climb the leaderboards (with ghost data to race against!), while those looking for a more relaxed experience can explore in Free Roam and personalize their vehicle interiors. DRIVE Rally is more of an arcade-style racer, with a vibrant look, but it still delivers enjoyable off-road racing.
NBA The Run
Do you remember the fun of classic games like NBA Street? Play by Play Studios is aiming to recreate that experience with NBA The Run, a new street basketball game available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC for $30. The main objective is to win the global Run the World Tournament, which consists of four rounds with a knockout format. You can team up with two friends in Knockout Squads, each controlling one player, or go it alone and control the whole team in Knockout Solos. You can also create private tournaments with Knockout Friends, playing against AI or other players, and even host large competitions with up to 48 players. Despite being developed by a smaller studio, the game features over 30 NBA stars to choose from as you compete to become the best.
Star Fox

When it was announced that this new game was a remake of Star Fox 64, many fans expressed their disappointment. However, Star Fox 64 is still considered the best game in the series, and this Switch 2 version, releasing June 25th, keeps everything that made the original so enjoyable, with the major update being completely new graphics. You can play through the story on three difficulty levels, by yourself or with a friend, or test your skills in Challenge Mode with varied goals. The multiplayer has also been updated, offering several objective-based modes where you can play as either Star Fox or Star Wolf. While it might not be the biggest exclusive title for the Switch 2, it’s fantastic to see this beloved franchise return, and it looks great!
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam
Following the success of their realistic and large-scale World War 2 game, Expression Games is now tackling the Vietnam War. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, launching June 18th on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, uses the power of Unreal Engine 5 to create six huge maps where players fight to completely defeat their opponents. The game features 17 different combat roles, introduces new vehicles like helicopters and patrol boats for river battles, allows you to drag and rescue teammates, and includes improved movement and tunnel systems for ambushes. All of this adds up to what could be the most immersive and definitive war simulation shooter of the year.
