Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton are feeling the weight of family drama.
The latest trailer for season eight of 1000-lb Sisters shows a growing distance between the two sisters, revealing they’re currently not getting along.
I often hear from people feeling disconnected from siblings they were once incredibly close to. Recently, I spoke with Tammy, who’s 39, and she perfectly described that pain. She told me it really feels like she and her younger sister are growing apart, and she misses the days when her sister was her absolute best friend. It’s a common experience, and honestly, a really heartbreaking one.
It seems Tammy and Amy’s relationship has changed a lot recently. When Tammy’s brother, Chris Combs, asked if they were still arguing, Tammy responded that she’d stop fighting if Amy would just stay quiet.
The dislike appears to go both ways. Later in the trailer for the TLC series, Amy, 38, became very upset after a conversation with Tammy didn’t go well.
“I can’t handle her toxic ass no more,” she said as she dissolved into tears. “I’m done.”
According to Misty Wentworth, the older sister of the reality stars, the conflict stems from Tammy calling Amy a “deadbeat mom” regarding her children, 5-year-old Gage and 3-year-old Glenn, who she shares with her former husband, Michael Halterman.
You know, I was a little surprised myself when I heard Amy didn’t choose Tammy as her maid of honor. It seemed like a natural fit, especially with Amy marrying Brian Lovvorn back in October. It definitely raised some eyebrows!
Amy and Tammy were very distant from each other, but Chris strongly believed they needed to try and repair their relationship.

He told Amy they needed to resolve the issue, explaining that families should support each other and be together.
It might take a while for the sisters to make up, as Amy seems hesitant to agree with her brother’s request that she and Tammy work out their differences.
Honestly, I told her I wasn’t going to just sit there and accept something I clearly didn’t agree with. It felt like she was trying to pull the wool over my eyes, and I wasn’t having it – especially when it wasn’t something I even liked in the first place! I believe in being direct and honest, and sometimes you just have to say ‘no’ to things that don’t feel right.
Season four of 1000-lb Sisters kicks off January 6th on TLC. Stay tuned for more information on other new TV shows premiering soon…

Nathan Fillion returns for season eight of the procedural.

Ramón Rodríguez and team return to solve more cases on season four.

Amy is busy planning her wedding to Brian, and it’s going to be a unique Halloween event! She’s adding lots of spooky touches, from creepy decorations to a fun bachelorette party in New Orleans, to make sure her wedding day is one to remember.
I’m so incredibly proud of Tammy! She’s really turning over a new leaf after her surgery. It’s amazing to see her taking on so much – she’s volunteering at an animal shelter and really embracing adulthood, especially as she approaches 40. But the biggest thing is seeing her relationship with Andrea blossom. They’re planning to move in together, and it’s clear that this new independence and all these opportunities are bringing them even closer. It’s just a really beautiful chapter for her, and I’m thrilled to watch it unfold.
Even with all the love, the sisters are facing more conflict than ever. The show, 1000-Lb Sisters, captures the complicated family relationships, feelings of envy, and each sister’s journey to grow, all with plenty of drama, heartwarming moments, and humor.

When season 12 begins, Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. will welcome twenty new celebrities who will explore their family histories and trace their ancestors’ stories back for generations.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by stories about reinvention, and this one is a great example! It follows Dr. Martin Best, a seriously talented surgeon who walks away from a high-powered Boston career to become a small-town doctor in the charming coastal village where he grew up. Now, let’s be honest, Martin isn’t exactly winning any ‘People’s Choice’ awards for bedside manner – he’s a bit gruff and direct, and the townsfolk aren’t used to it. He’s really just trying to escape the noise and be left alone, but naturally, he keeps getting pulled into everyone else’s drama. What they don’t realize is that his standoffishness hides a deeper struggle – he’s dealing with a new phobia and unresolved childhood issues that make it hard for him to connect with people. But this town is full of resilient characters, and I have a feeling these quirky locals might just be exactly what he needs to start healing.

Season 14 debuts with new mystery celebrities.

This show, a continuation of The Valley, centers on a close group of Persian friends who’ve moved from the glamorous Beverly Hills to a more family-oriented life in the suburbs. As they balance marriage, raising kids, and successful careers, tensions and conflicts start to surface in their relationships. With strong cultural values emphasizing family, friendship, and loyalty, these passionate individuals experience a full range of emotions as they navigate life’s ups and downs.

I’m so excited for season four! It feels like fate is really driving everything this time around. Inside the castle, every single decision the contestants make – who they team up with, who they stab in the back – could completely flip the script. It’s going to be wild to watch how their choices play out!

In the hot Atlanta summer, Anna has withdrawn from her life, losing touch with friends and leaving her job as a news anchor. When she learns about a murder in her quiet hometown of Dahlonega, she’s driven to investigate. Detective Jack Harper becomes wary of her involvement, and his investigation begins to focus on her. Everyone has a different perspective, and in this case, HIS & HERS, meaning someone isn’t telling the truth.

This story is based on the real lives of people struggling to survive in London’s tough East End during the 1880s. Just when the area of Wapping seems doomed, Mary Carr returns with her trusted ally, Alice Diamond, determined to rebuild her gang and regain control. Mary always has a plan, and this one is her most dangerous yet, potentially impacting everyone she cares about.

Season three of Tell Me Lies picks up with Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) trying to make their complicated relationship work as they return to Baird College for the spring semester. Despite hoping for a fresh start, old mistakes continue to cause problems, and Lucy gets caught up in a scandal she didn’t ask for. The fallout from the previous year also forces Lucy and Stephen’s friends to confront their own damaging choices. As secrets spread across campus, everyone in Lucy’s life faces serious consequences.

Season four debuts.

From the world of Westeros comes an endearing tale centered on the adventures of an unexpected duo.

The ninth season of American Idol is set to premiere on ABC, marking the show’s 24th season overall. Returning to judge are music stars Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood, with Ryan Seacrest returning as host. This season, Idol is shaking things up by holding the famous Hollywood Week auditions in Nashville. Dubbed “Hollywood Week: Music City Takeover,” this single-round audition will be the most competitive in Idol history, with more hopefuls being eliminated than ever before.

I’m so excited about Memory of a Killer! It’s a really gripping thriller based on a fantastic book and the award-winning Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer. Patrick Dempsey, who’s incredible and even got an Emmy nomination, plays Angelo Doyle – a hitman with a seriously complicated life and a secret that could destroy everything. I can’t wait to see what happens!

Season two of the family reality competition series debuts.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m fascinated by stories about people shaking things up, and that’s exactly what ‘Shrinking’ is about! It centers around a therapist, Jason Segel, who’s dealing with a personal loss and decides to throw the rule book out the window. He starts being brutally honest with his patients, which, naturally, creates a lot of drama and really impacts everyone involved – including himself. It’s a show about taking risks and the messy consequences that follow.

Season four centers on Benedict (Luke Thompson), the Bridgerton family’s second son. While his brothers have found happiness in marriage, Benedict isn’t interested in settling down—that is, until he’s captivated by a mysterious woman in silver at a ball hosted by their mother.

The cooking competition series returns for season five.

Strangers are abandoned in a harsh and isolated place, forced to live together and compete in a series of incredible stunts and difficult challenges. It’s a game of wits and willpower where trust is fragile and fear can be used against you. In the end, only one person will overcome their fears and win a huge cash prize!

Based on the critically acclaimed 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, Memory of a Killer is a suspenseful thriller. Patrick Dempsey stars as Angelo Doyle, a professional killer who lives a double life and is secretly struggling with the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
Michael Imperioli plays Dutch, Angelo’s longtime friend and a talented chef. However, Dutch’s restaurant is secretly used to hide illegal activities.

Captain Jason Chambers is once again leading the superyacht Katina, with familiar faces Ben Robinson as chef, Daisy Kelliher as chief stewardess, and João Franco as second officer heading their respective departments. Alesia Harris is also back as sous chef.
The crew has welcomed several new members: Joe Caron and Jenna Woudberg as stews, Mike Durrant as a deck/stew, and deckhands Eddy Hounsell and Betul Yazici.

Jack is back, but he’s in serious danger! Known as the Artful Dodger, he’s facing execution and is being pursued by Inspector Boxer, the new police officer in Port Victory. Even seeing the woman he loves, Lady Belle, could lead to his hanging.
I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing Lady Belle is! She’s just… incredible. Everyone expects her to follow some traditional path, but she’s completely determined to become a doctor, and she’s not afraid to throw herself into really risky situations to do it. It’s inspiring, honestly. And the poor thing has a romance brewing, which is just adding to the stress and danger! I’m completely invested in her journey, and honestly, a little worried sick about her!
As Boxer and Jack both try to win Belle’s heart, the sly Fagin pulls Dodger into their riskiest scheme yet, all while a murderer is at large. This season promises excitement with new faces, settings, and even more twists, laughs, emotion, cleverness, and betrayal than before.
The animated comedy returns for season 24.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following The Last Thing He Told Me, and season two is a real rollercoaster! After five years of disappearing, Owen (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) suddenly reappears in Hannah (Jennifer Garner) and Bailey’s (Angourie Rice) lives. Now, they’re in a desperate race against time to rebuild their family and uncover the secrets that forced Owen to run in the first place – before those secrets destroy everything.

The animated comedy returns for its milestone 20th season.
