Definitely! Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic from Survivor 49 were revealed on December 17th as the last two players competing on the show’s 50th season.

Savannah and Rizo, who finished first and fourth on the December 17th finale, are joining other returning cast members. These include Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus and a former contestant, as well as past winners Dee Valladares and Kyle Fraser.

Missing from the tribes? Season 40 Winners at War castaways like Boston Rob Mariano and Parvati Shallow.

Host Jeff Probst explained that they decided not to include any past winners from Winners at War because that season had just finished and was already a large, significant event. He stated that was the sole reason for the decision.

As a longtime fan, I’m so excited to see some real Survivor veterans return! We’re getting Aubry Braco for her fourth time, Ozzy Lusth for his fifth, and Cirie Fields – who many of us believe is the best player to never win – all competing again in Fiji. It’s going to be amazing!

In a July interview with TopMob News, Cirie shared her strong opinion about season 50, something she hadn’t done for any previous season. As a longtime viewer since the very first season, won by Richard Hatch, she considers herself both a fan and a player. She emphatically declared it the best season ever, and insisted this wasn’t just because she was a contestant – it truly was the best season ever.

After all, Jeff dug deep when selecting the all-star cast.

The 63-year-old explained to Variety in August 2024 that he printed photos of potential players—4×6 magnetic prints with their names, when they started playing, and their age if they compete for 50 seasons. He plans to use these on a whiteboard as he begins the challenging, but exciting, task of selecting the cast for Survivor 50. His goal is to create a group of players that both longtime fans will love and that properly celebrates the show’s 50th season.

He wanted the upcoming season to be a real celebration, saying, “Let’s make this a fantastic season of Survivor, but let’s really focus on having fun.”
