It’s Dark, Violent, and More Than a Little Eerie
Jake Tropila of In Review Online praises Bone Lake as a surprisingly good horror film, noting that its most compelling moments come from depicting the breakdown of a couple’s relationship, rather than from the horror itself. Joe Lipsett of Horror Queers describes it as a playful take on Indecent Proposal, highlighting strong performances from the four main actors and an exciting, over-the-top ending, though he cautions against labeling it an erotic thriller.
