Now that Halloween has passed, the holiday season is officially starting, and Sky Cinema is joining in with a new Christmas movie called Tinsel Town.
Kiefer Sutherland, known for his role in 24, and Rebel Wilson, famous from Pitch Perfect, star in this movie about a washed-up action star named Bradley Mack (Sutherland). He’s unexpectedly tricked into playing a role in a small-town Cinderella pantomime.
With the movie coming out next month, Sky Cinema just released a preview trailer featuring its impressive cast.
According to Sky TV, the movie is about a former action star who’s past his prime. He ends up unexpectedly performing in a messy Christmas pantomime in a small English town. There, a no-nonsense dance teacher and his daughter might help him remember what makes Christmas special.
Chris Foggin, known for ‘Bank of Dave’, directed the film, and the screenplay was penned by Piers Ashworth, Frazer Flintham, and Adam Brown. The movie stars David Sutherland and Daniel Wilson, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Sir Derek Jacobi, Danny Dyer, Jason Manford, Katherine Ryan, Meera Syal, Asim Chaudhry, and Mawaan Rizwan, among others.
Robbie Williams’ daughter, Theodora Williams, is making her acting debut in the film, playing Cara, the daughter of Jill, a tough and direct choreographer played by Rebel Wilson.
