There’s still hope that a third 28 Years Later film will happen, allowing director Danny Boyle to complete his vision for the story. While The Bone Temple had a budget of $63 million, Sony might be open to making it if they could further reduce production costs, hoping it could become a surprise success. Another option would be to sell the distribution rights to a streaming service.
