3 Great Anime Ending Soon

Every year, tons of anime shows come out, but only a few really stick with viewers. Certain series are truly special, and become even more meaningful as fans continue to follow them over time. It’s always hard saying goodbye to a beloved show, particularly one you’ve been watching for years. The excitement of new seasons, developing storylines, and waiting for the latest episodes are hard to beat.

It’s always sad when a great anime series finishes, especially when it’s based on a popular manga. Saying goodbye to a show you love is often more heartbreaking than exciting, and fans naturally feel a sense of loss as the story concludes. Here are three amazing anime series that are nearing their end, each with a dedicated following and a lasting impact.

3) Dr. Stone

The popular manga series Dr. Stone, which won the Shogakukan Manga Award in 2019, finished its run in 2023. Following the typical schedule for Weekly Shonen Jump, the anime adaptation premiered two years after the manga began. The final part of the anime, Science Future Part 3, will conclude the story in 2026, though a specific release date hasn’t been revealed yet.

It’s amazing to watch everything come down to the wire! Senku and the Kingdom of Science have been working tirelessly for years to bring back modern civilization, and they’re so close now. All that’s left is to make absolutely sure nobody gets turned to stone again – they’re determined to finish what they started and build a future free from petrification!

2) Bleach

Although Bleach is one of the most popular anime series alongside Naruto and One Piece, its anime adaptation of the final story arc was put on hold for ten years after the original series finished in 2016. Fans began to worry the anime might be canceled, but they were happily surprised in 2022 when it was announced that the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc would be adapted into four parts.

With the first three parts already available, the final installment, Part 4, is scheduled for release in 2026. This will bring the intense conflict between the Soul Reapers and the Quincies to a close. The anime aims to provide a more satisfying resolution than the manga’s ending, which many fans found abrupt and left unanswered questions. This was partly due to the author, Tite Kubo, experiencing health issues while working under the pressure of a weekly release schedule.

1) My Hero Academia

Even though the manga finished last year, the anime series My Hero Academia is nearing its end, with the final season currently airing. The anime will conclude on December 13th, 2025, after just three more episodes. The main conflict with the villains has been resolved, and the remaining episodes will focus on the consequences of the massive battle that took place.

I’m absolutely blown away by how Studio Bones has adapted this series – the animation is gorgeous and those action scenes are just electric! It’s hard to believe that after nine years, we’re heading into the final month of this incredible journey. And honestly, it’s a little scary knowing there’s still no word on whether the story will continue beyond the anime adaptation – I’m really hoping it does!
