4 Coronation Street spoilers next week
1. Asha Alahan is rushed to hospital after trying to take her own life

Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Dev have spent their wedding night at the hotel, but Bernie is now concerned about Asha.
Inside the shop, a tired Asha takes a drink from a wine bottle. She then unexpectedly tells Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) to watch over the store before leaving.
A tearful Asha is found by Theo slumped on the bench in Victoria Gardens with an empty bottle.
Theo notices something is wrong and immediately tells someone, and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) informs Dev. Meanwhile, a paramedic checks on Asha and asks Dev and Amy if she may have also taken any drugs along with the wine.

While Dev anxiously awaits updates in the Emergency Room, Sienna (Charlotte Tyree) comes near and softly tells him that drugs were found on Asha.
Dev is reeling as Bernie asks if Asha has tried to take her own life.
A photo taken later in the week shows that Asha is physically recovering well, however, people are still worried about her emotional state, especially as Dev finds it difficult to manage his feelings.
He explained to Bernie that he couldn’t shake his anger over Asha’s willingness to cause the family so much suffering.

Dev later visits Asha, but can he support his daughter?
Back at the Rovers pub, characters like Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) are talking about what’s happening with Asha.
While discussing their worries about Dev, the group began to talk openly about their own problems. They decided to share their feelings with each other instead of keeping them to themselves, realizing the benefits of open communication. It was a turning point for the group.

2. Abi Webster and Carl Webster’s affair exposed in text blunder?

At Ronnie Bailey’s (Vinta Morgan) birthday party, Carl finds himself in an awkward spot, stuck between his two secret girlfriends, Abi and James Bailey (Jason Callender).
When young Alfie accidentally spills his drink, Carl lends a hand while Abi cleans it up. This doesn’t go unnoticed by a very angry Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), who makes it clear to Abi that she needs to break things off with Carl.
Debbie then advises Kevin to hire a lawyer as Abi can’t be trusted.

Abi spots them chatting, but she’s too far away to make out the conversation. Immediately jumping to conclusions, she sends a frantic text to Carl, believing Kevin has found out. However, she’s accidentally sent the message to Kev himself!
Carl attempts to grab Kevin’s phone to erase the message, but the next day, it’s evident that Kevin now knows the truth. He rejects Abi when she goes to check on him and Jack (Kyran Bowes), and firmly tells her she’s no longer welcome.
Kevin asks for his house key back, however, Bernie later informs Abi and Carl that she witnessed Kev throwing Abi’s possessions out onto the street.
Oh man, as a film enthusiast, I’m *really* invested in this storyline! Seeing Kevin so upset just breaks your heart, and I’m wondering if Abi will seriously start questioning her choices once she discovers that Carl’s been playing her. It’s that classic ‘finding out the truth’ moment, and I have a feeling it’s going to hit her hard. Will she regret everything? I’m on the edge of my seat! I mean, inevitably she’s going to find out about Carl’s deception, and I predict a lot of emotional fallout. This is pure drama!
3. Tim Metcalfe meets an old flame – and reveals a dark secret

Tim recognises a fare as Trisha Pinkerton, a girl he knew in the ’80s.
It’s also Tim and his wife Sally’s (Sally Dynevor) anniversary, and Sally suggests Tim head to the Rovers Return to try and lift Kevin’s spirits.
When Trisha arrives, Tim notices her and tells his friends that she’s someone he used to know.

Kevin isn’t happy, and the following day, Trisha goes to see Tim at his cab office. This surprises Sally, who is shocked to find her there.
Sally angrily explains that she is married to Tim, and she’s very upset with him. She points out that he not only forgot about their anniversary dinner, but he’s also having his former girlfriend over at work!

As Sally angrily leaves, Tim explains to Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) that he was just 14 years old when he started dating Trisha, who was almost 20 then.
Brian is quietly shocked, and later, he accuses Trisha of grooming Tim as a child.

Trisha was deeply upset as Tim confronted Brian, urging him to acknowledge the truth about what occurred with Trisha.
Sally confronts Tim, who admits he was only 14 when Trisha took his virginity.
Sally is shocked, but can she make Tim face up to the fact he was groomed?

4. Todd Grimshaw shields abusive Theo Silverton from his medical fears

Todd is feeling down and tells George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that he still hasn’t heard from Theo.
George thinks Todd is better off without Theo, and later, once Theo reconnects with Asha, Todd angrily confronts Theo about leaving without a word.
Theo walks away angrily, and Amy explains to Todd that if Theo hadn’t discovered Asha, the situation might have unfolded very differently.
So, by the end of the week, Todd let Theo know he really wished he could be there for him at Noah Hedley’s (Richard Winsor) funeral, but unfortunately, work is just going to keep him from being able to make it. It’s a tough situation, and you can really feel for both of them.
However, Todd shares with Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) that he’s going to the hospital to get checked for bowel cancer. He hasn’t told Theo because he feels Theo is already dealing with a lot.

Todd appreciates Billy joining him, and at the pub, Todd expresses his gratitude to Billy, promising to update Theo as soon as he receives the results.
Theo becomes frustrated when he spots Todd and Billy spending time together, and he’s even more upset to learn that Todd has accepted a dinner invitation from George and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins).
As Theo starts to show more and more controlling behavior – particularly because he’s upset that Todd has interests and friends outside of their relationship – what will his reaction be?
