Next week on Emmerdale, April Windsor will finally tell her dad, Marlon Dingle, and Rhona Goskirk everything that’s been happening to her. It’s a big moment as she opens up about her difficult experience.

Their brief moment of relief doesn’t last. Just after ordering Dylan Penders to run their human trafficking scheme, they’re interrupted by the unwelcome arrival of Celia Daniels, who brings news from Ray Walters.

There’s disappointment at Wishing Well when Sam Dingle accidentally ruins his wife Lydia’s surprise plans to see Jason Donovan.

Here’s a look at everything happening in Emmerdale between Monday 1st and Friday 5th December.

4 Emmerdale spoilers next week

1. April Windsor opens up to Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk – then Celia Daniels shows up

April convinces Bob to give her money for Christmas shopping, but instead of buying gifts, she uses it to help a family she saw online. She delivers the cash directly to their house.

She hurried off to conceal herself, thinking his wife would be the one to find it, but she didn’t see Calum come to the door. He was startled by what happened and immediately called Ray, wanting to know what April had been doing.

Ray later confided in Celia about how close April came to discovering the truth, and together they hatched a plan to isolate her from her family and friends. He told her to pack her belongings, claiming she was being sent away for work, and April felt trapped with no way out.

I’ve been watching everything unfold, and it’s clear Dylan’s trying to push Marlon to convince April to go to the police. The whole situation really rattled him, and he seemed genuinely panicked after everything that happened. I saw him dash into Tenants, probably to call someone, but Celia spotted him and, even more interestingly, she noticed a picture of Bear sitting on the sideboard. It makes you wonder what she’s thinking!

Marlon spots April getting ready to board a bus and immediately asks if something is wrong, completely shocking her. She initially insists everything is fine, but eventually confesses she’s been selling drugs to make ends meet.

She’s worried because Marlon and Rhona are trying to convince her to ignore Ray and go with them to the police station. She realizes it’s a really bad plan and admits she killed Callum, explaining that the repercussions will be severe.

Celia visits Smithy Cottage, hoping to talk things over with the people there. While she’s there, she gets a video call from Ray and leans her phone against something to keep it visible.

What is their game?

2. Dylan Penders is forced to take charge of the slaves

Celia gives Dylan a shocking birthday gift: Robbie, tied up because she believes he betrayed her. She then horrifies Dylan by handing him a bat and telling him to attack Robbie.

He refuses to go through with hurting Robbie, and she brings Mick in to finish off the job.

Things get even harder for Dylan when he learns Celia’s new plan: she wants him to oversee the workers she’s forcing to work. He feels trapped and realizes he’s being taken advantage of, but doesn’t see any way out.

3. Sam Dingle comes clean about the family’s monetary woes

So, I got back to Wishing Well and found Lydia totally immersed in trying on outfits – apparently for the Jason Donovan concert with Belle! She casually mentioned she knew about the tickets, and honestly, my heart sank because I was about to have to tell her it was all a misunderstanding. I really didn’t want to disappoint her, but I had to prepare to break the news.

After explaining everything to both of them, Sam felt embarrassed, and a disappointed Lydia went upstairs.

4. Laurel Thomas gives Ray Walters a second chance

Ray planned a romantic picnic, hoping to win Laurel back. She noticed how much he cared and started to think he deserved another opportunity.

She’s smitten, unaware of the danger that looms…
