But that’s exactly why I’d love to see him back in action! He’s got this incredible inside view of the kind of crime other heroes just don’t deal with, especially now that he’s taken over from Wilson Fisk. Imagine Luke leading a team that tackles political corruption alongside street-level threats, operating from his office – kind of like a genuinely good version of Amanda Waller. It’s a dynamic we haven’t really seen explored, and I think it would be fantastic.

4) Ant-Man

Hank Pym was one of the original Avengers, but a single incident – a regrettable slap – has unfortunately defined him as unstable and sometimes villainous. He’s spent years switching between being a hero and a villain, and that complex history actually makes him an ideal candidate to lead a team. Ant-Man has fought for forgiveness more than almost anyone in the Marvel Universe, so picture him assembling a group of others who also want to prove they deserve a second chance. He could create the ultimate redemption team, and his incredible scientific mind would make them powerfully equipped to succeed.

3) Hawkeye

I’ve always thought Hawkeye was an incredibly underrated leader. He’s a founding Avenger and seems to know everyone – he’s so well-connected! It actually cost him his marriage while he was leading that team, which is a really compelling detail. I’d love to see a story where he’s pushing himself to the absolute limit to make a team succeed, and his teammates are forced to deal with how far he’ll go – and whether it actually helps them or not. It would be a really complex and interesting dynamic to explore.

2) Scarlet Witch

Now that Wanda has become the Sorcerer Supreme, she’s in an ideal position to build a new team of magic-using heroes. While Doctor Strange’s previous teams operated in secret and focused on powerful demons, Wanda could be more open and proactive. She has the power to unite both well-known and overlooked magical experts, allowing them to protect the world in innovative ways. Given her influence and understanding of magic, she’s perfectly suited to lead this team. After years of development, this feels like the natural next step for Wanda’s story – she’s proven herself as a powerful sorcerer, and now she can build a team to match.

1) Hulk

I’ve always been amazed by the Hulk – he’s undeniably the strongest hero Marvel has! But even with all that power, I don’t think he needs to go it alone. It’s fascinating to see him team up with others, like in the Avengers or the Defenders, even if he doesn’t usually lead. Honestly, it makes sense given his… well, his Hulk-ness! I always thought the combination of Banner’s intelligence and Hulk’s raw strength could be something truly special. Imagine if they could really work together, coordinating a team of the most powerful heroes to support him! It’d be incredible to see the Hulk evolve and grow in that way, and as a fan, that’s what I always love to see in a character.
