With May nearly over, summer is just around the corner! June marks the official start of summer break for many students, and warmer weather is here. While theaters are full of big summer movies, there are also plenty of great films families can enjoy at home. Streaming services offer a huge selection of family-friendly options, and many are available without a subscription fee.

Streaming services will keep adding new movies throughout the summer, but now that we’ve seen what Pluto TV and Tubi are offering in June, we’ve put together a great list of free family movies. Here are five top picks – ideal for a family movie night or keeping the kids entertained!

5) Harriet the Spy (Pluto TV)

This treasure belongs to the legendary outlaw Katherine “Kissin’ Kate” Barlow (Arquette) and is surprisingly linked to Stanley’s family history. This isn’t the original Peanuts comic strip, but the Peanuts characters are timeless—they recently celebrated their 75th anniversary!
