5 EastEnders spoilers next week

1. The Slater-Moons have a dramatic Halloween amid Zoe secret and tense home video

Zoe’s surprising news keeps bothering Kat, and as she gets ready for quiz night at The Queen Vic, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) tells her to avoid getting involved.

Kat tries to talk to Zoe, but she’s distracted by the search for her missing cat.

I was really getting into the drama with Ross Marshall – Alex Walkinshaw is great in the role, and he was opening up to Alfie about things with Vicki Fowler. It was interesting because, at the same time, Vicki was chatting with Ian Beale about Zoe’s little boy. It felt like everyone had something going on, and all these little conversations were connected somehow.

Seeing how much it means to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Ian transfers over some money to help.

When the quiz night starts, Kat overhears Vicki chatting with Ross and impulsively decides to tell everyone in the crowded pub about Zoe’s secret.

Okay, so things really explode in this scene. Everyone is completely stunned by what Kat says, and you can feel the ripple effect through the whole town. Then, Kat corners Zoe, basically laying down the law. She’s seeing how Zoe’s choices are messing with everything she’s built – her business and her family – and she’s not happy about it. It’s a major confrontation!

Zoe started to leave, but then she found a broken picture of herself and Kat. She immediately blamed Kat, but Kat insisted she hadn’t done it.

Zoe is trying to figure out who’s to blame, but everyone in Albert Square has bigger worries as Halloween approaches. Alfie is dealing with a flooded barrel store and has to quickly clean up the mess from a burst pipe.

Alfie discovers an old VHS tape from the 1980s. He then attempts to help Kat, Zoe, and Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) resolve their issues. While Kat and Zoe reconcile, Jean remains unwilling to forgive, leading to a falling out with Kat.

Ross brings a VHS player to The Vic, hoping to watch a tape, but Kat worries about how it might affect Zoe and hesitates to put it on.

Zoe remains upset about the damaged photo and confronts Vicki, but Anthony Trueman manages to soothe her.

Anthony tries to support Zoe, but accidentally offends her and she storms off.

Things get heated when Zoe comes back and discovers the VHS tape is playing, leading her to kick everyone out of The Vic.

Kat denies playing the tape, while Anthony shares some concerns.

Zoe’s intense fear and distrust make her believe someone is targeting her, causing her to wrongly accuse Anthony and ask him to leave the pub.

Anthony discusses his worries for Zoe with Kat, but it’s unclear if she believes him.

While Jean assists with Lily Slater’s daughter, Charli, old memories resurface when Kat, Zoe, and Tommy Moon view a video dating back to 1988.

What happens next?

2. Eve Panesar-Unwin is forced to face her past as she pursues adoption with Suki Panesar-Unwin

Eve and Suki Panesar-Unwin are meeting with potential adoptive parents to explore whether adoption is a good fit for their family.

However, things get complicated when Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and his family – Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and their children – return from vacation at the same time.

The Panesars try to support Eve and Suki ahead of their meeting with the adoption agency.

The meeting was successful, but Eve became worried when she learned she’d need a reference from her mother before things could move forward.

With Eve’s relationship with her mum having been fraught over the years, will Eve get her support?

3. Oscar Branning questions Jasmine Fisher’s suspicious behaviour

So, after chatting with Lauren, I figured Oscar was really starting to suspect Jasmine was keeping something from him. He decided to corner her about it – right there at The Albert, of all places! It was a tense scene, him basically grilling her to find out what she was hiding.

But how will Jasmine respond?

The new person has been acting oddly, and seems very focused on any rumors about her manager, Cindy Beale, played by Michelle Collins.

Although Jasmine was hit by Nigel’s car, we now know she lives through it.

But what is Jasmine’s big secret?

4. Tobias “Okie” Okyere blocks Kojo Asare’s escape route

I was on the edge of my seat when Kojo attempted to slip out and find some assistance, but Okie wouldn’t let him. The fallout continued the next day – Ravi was clearly eating away at his guilt over deceiving Priya, so he went to meet with Okie. It’s setting up to be a really tense situation, I can feel it!

Okie lies that Kojo and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) have been released.

As Ravi hands over leadership of the business to Okie, what will Okie’s next move be?

And will anyone come to Kojo and Harry’s rescue?

5. Nigel Bates makes an emotional declaration

Nigel and Julie had a sincere conversation about what’s been happening. Afterwards, Julie was worried when Nigel went missing, but she was happy to find him unharmed.

The happy atmosphere quickly fades when Nigel, clearly upset, announces he’s feeling too sick to travel to India.

As Nigel’s dementia progresses, how will he and Julie cope with his illness?
