Ravi Gulati is still struggling with his personal issues, while Bea Pollard manages to make a good impression on Vinny Panesar.
Here’s what you can expect to see on EastEnders from Monday, January 26th to Thursday, January 29th, 2026.
5 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. Mark Fowler Jr hides the reason for his return

Mark Fowler Jr., the son of Michelle Fowler and Grant Mitchell, is back in Walford after spending several years living in Florida.
Vicki, Phil, and Sam were shocked to see him and immediately asked what he was doing there. He quickly explained he was there to support his sister before Joel’s trial.
When she’s gone, he tells his Uncle Phil what really happened and asks for assistance. But Phil is too focused on his plan to fly Nigel to Portugal that evening to be able to help.

In a bid to make him stick around, Mark divulges Phil’s secret plan to an oblivious Julie.
Wiill this help Mark or make his problems worse?
2. Max Branning exposes Jasmine Fisher’s intention to flee

Jasmine is now more determined than ever to escape Albert Square. She recently revealed a shocking secret about Max and misled Kat by saying she’d spoken to the police about Chrissie’s role in Anthony’s murder.
As we know, Jasmine is the real killer and has allowed mum Zoe to take the rap since Christmas.
Once Max realizes Zoe isn’t going to help, he uses that knowledge to try and keep her away from Oscar.

Ugh, frustratingly, I’m running into a problem trying to watch this. It seems Google’s reCAPTCHA is blocking me, and the site is telling me to log out of Contentpass to get it working. Honestly, it’s a pain when these security things interfere with just wanting to enjoy a film!
Later that week, Oscar accidentally tells Kat about his and Jasmine’s plan to run away. Kat is shocked, and even more surprised when Patrick accuses her of pressuring Jasmine to help with Zoe’s situation.
Max tells his son he confronted Jasmine and is very angry about it. Kat is determined to uncover the truth behind Jasmine’s lies.
3. George Knight breaks some big news to Elaine Peacock

George feels it’s time to tell his ex-wife, Elaine, that he’s going to have a baby with Nicola Mitchell (played by Laura Doddington). They arrange to meet for a drink, but Elaine mistakenly thinks he wants to get back together, thanks to some encouragement from Bea.
When the two characters come face to face, George finds herself in a difficult situation. She’s incredibly upset and humiliated, and she takes her frustration out on Ian Beale, who doesn’t react well to her outburst.
4. Elaine Peacock fights fire with fire in her war with Ian Beale

Elaine’s week takes a turn for the worse when she discovers the Walford Gazette has published stories about her, thanks to a tip from Ian.
She decides to get even, but her plan spirals out of control, leaving Kathy stuck in the middle as he develops a plan of his own. Despite Elaine’s apology, the Beales remain firm in their refusal to forgive her.

An argument breaks out at the cafe, and Ian goes to see Elaine at Peacock Palace. He tells her he’s planning to run for Councillor Barker’s position on the council, and if he wins, he’ll be forced to close down her hotel.
Enraged, Elaine decides to play him at his own game and run for Barker’s position too.
5. Ravi Gulati is left guilt-ridden after failing to support Avani Nandra-Hart

Ravi Gulati is still upset about attacking Davinder, nicknamed “Nugget,” and next week he tries to help his son feel better. His teenage son hasn’t left their apartment, so Ravi gives him and his friend, Denzel, some money for a day out.
It appears the plan is succeeding, as Ravi and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) are happy their son has chosen to return to Sixth Form.
Things get really complicated for Ravi when Avani Nandra-Hart, played by Aaliyah James, asks him to testify on her behalf during Joel’s trial. I felt for him – he wants to support her, and makes that promise, but then Jack throws a wrench in everything by recruiting him to go undercover and gather intel on London’s drug scene. It’s a classic setup: Ravi’s torn between doing the right thing for his friend and getting pulled into something much more dangerous.
Priya is extremely angry that he wasn’t there for their daughter, and he instantly feels terrible and hates himself for it.
4. Joel Marshall goes to trial – and there’s an interesting development

With Joel’s trial approaching, Vicki confides in Zack about her anxiety over the upcoming court appearance. Zack tries to lift her spirits by inviting her over to his place to try out some new dishes he’s been developing for The Vic.
While she appreciates the kindness and welcome break from her thoughts, she’s still very preoccupied as she heads to court with her colleagues, Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) and Mark. Seeing her distress, Zack quickly runs to catch up with them.
When Tommy Moon, playing the role of Sonny Kendall, begins his testimony, Joel pretends to cooperate while actually testifying against him. Vicki is shocked by the defense lawyer’s methods and quickly leaves the courtroom.

The trial continues, and Vicki and Avani are still very upset. Ross is unable to face his son and declines a request to see him, choosing to visit someone else in Walford instead.
When the visit doesn’t go to plan, the court resumes, and the trial takes an intriguing turn.
5. Bea Pollard eyes up a new job with Honey Mitchell

Bea was ready to start a more stable life, so she began looking for a job. She wasn’t having any success until she witnessed someone attempting to steal from the Minute Mart and unexpectedly intervened.
She quickly decided to apply for a job at the shop, and she showed everyone how valuable she was by helping Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) clean up after a couple of teenagers made a mess.
Vinny is seriously impressed by her hard work and diligence, but will he offer her a job?
