1. Joel Marshall lashes out at the Slaters after news on his absent mum

Under Vicki Fowler’s recommendation, Ross invites Sonny Kendall, who is known as Tommy Moon, and Joel, to join him at his timber yard for work.
However, upon hearing the speech from the other laborers, Ross grows apprehensive about its impact on the children.
Later on, Ross receives a call from Joel’s mother, and he finds himself needing to inform Joel that she is planning to remarry.
Ross eventually gets a call from Joel’s mom, and he has to share the news with his son that she intends to get married again.
Or simply:
Ross eventually gets a call from Joel’s mom, and he must inform Joel that she is remarrying.
Joel secretly leaves to meet up with Tommy at The Queen Vic, enticing Tommy into trouble by taking liquor from the storage area of the pub.
As a cinephile, I, in the midst of a gripping scene, found myself alongside Ross, Vicki, Alfie, and Kat. However, when the audacity of Joel crossed the line, using disrespectful words towards Kat, the shock on the parents’ faces spoke volumes.
Ross and Vicki chastise Joel, with Ross trying to get through to his son.

In simpler terms, the father and son enjoy watching a video which Ross initially finds harmless due to Joel’s influencer status, but when Ross uncovers concerning information on his computer, he decides to destroy it.
In the aftermath, Ross is cold with Joel and refuses to let him join him at work again.
Vicki was surprised when she discovered why Ross damaged the computer, and instructed him to take a strong stance against Joel to prevent any further misbehavior.

In simpler terms, Ross talks intimately with Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), causing him to reflect deeply. Meanwhile, Joel apologizes to Kat, and she agrees to let him spend time with Tommy.
In a friendly chat about parenthood and relationships, Vicki and Stacey find common ground at The Vic. However, an irritated Joel listens in unknowingly, revealing his true personality.
What does he do next?
Could Joel’s mother’s mention again help validate the theories suggesting her real identity?
2. Oscar Branning leaves Patrick Trueman injured in robbery gone wrong

Oscar is threatened by Mike again, who demands £5K in return for the Branning family’s safety.
As Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) declined my proposed business venture, I was left with no choice but to lay out the entire situation for my older sibling, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), who graciously listened and offered her insights as a fellow cinephile.
While Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) disapproved, Patrick and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) decided to make a wager instead, ending up with a win of £6K.

In a different turn of events, Howie and Kim Fox have a disagreement following her conversation about his financial issues with Denise Fox. Meanwhile, Yolande decides to cancel the wedding due to Patrick’s deceit.
Later on, Oscar forcefully enters the Trueman-Fox residence with the intention of stealing Patrick’s gambling earnings. However, Patrick unexpectedly discovers Oscar in the act, leading to a scuffle where Oscar shoves Patrick, causing him to collapse to the ground and lose consciousness.
In a fluster, Oscar prepares to depart when Howie arrives back. Finding himself in a tight spot, Oscar conceals himself and swiftly slips away, ensuring that Howie does not catch sight of him.

Upon returning home from The Vic, the family is taken aback to discover Patrick injured. Meanwhile, Lauren expresses suspicion towards Oscar’s apparent concern for Patrick’s welfare.
As the teen tries to flee Walford, she confronts him over the stolen money.
In the hospital, Yolande, Denise, and Kim are keeping vigil for updates regarding Patrick, meanwhile, Howie is providing a report to the law enforcement officers.
As the police begin door-to-door visits, Lauren riles at Oscar, and he wants to run again.
Will Patrick be okay, and will Lauren report Oscar?
3. Eve Panesar-Unwin struggles over Suki Panesar-Unwin’s plan for pregnant Avani Nandra-Hart

Avani and Suki Panesar-Unwin, played by Balvinder Sopal, are making arrangements for Avani’s 12-week checkup; however, Eve harbors doubts regarding Suki’s idea of caring for the child together.
Eve takes advantage of the moment to talk privately with Avani, urging Suki to chat with Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) upon his return.

Over the course of the week, Eve and Avani deceive Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), as she discovers a hospital bill in Avani’s coat.
Will parents Priya and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) find out what’s going on right under their nose?
4. Cindy Beale and Elaine Knight team up in unlikely new partnership

Elaine struggles without the pub, and in The Vic, she and Yolande share a heart-to-heart.
Later, Cindy and Elaine team up at The Albert when Cindy struggles with the busy service.
Cindy then offers Elaine the job of co-manager.
Is there a possibility that Elaine will agree to the unexpected proposition extended by the woman with whom she had numerous disagreements regarding George Knight, Colin Salmon, throughout most of the previous year?
5. Callum Highway continues to explore his forbidden feelings for Johnny Carter

Married man Callum flirts with Johnny, who is currently on a cruise, via text.
Later, Callum spends a day out with his stepdaughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown), aiming to lift her spirits following a conversation with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
However, when Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) notices the flirtatious interaction on Callum’s phone and advises him to halt it, will Callum heed his advice?
How will the situation unfold between Callum and Phil Mitchell, who is his father-in-law, once Johnny comes back to Walford? (Steve McFadden plays Phil Mitchell)
