She’s upset to see her grandson, Ollie, becoming friendly with Amy Barlow, and worried that her son, Ben, is getting close to Steve McDonald.
Here’s everything happening in Coronation Street between Monday 9 and Friday 13 March.
6 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. Theo Silverton forces penniless Todd Grimshaw to pay for his birthday meal

It was Theo’s birthday, and he had invited Gary and Maria to lunch. He made a point of mentioning that Todd couldn’t come because of work. When Todd finally showed up, looking rushed and late, Theo became very angry.
He deliberately pushed the bill across the table, saying everyone should also cover Gary and Maria’s share. Embarrassed, Todd admitted to Nick that he only had £80 with him.
The birthday celebration quickly fell apart when they got home. Theo blamed Todd for ruining his birthday and insisted on having a bottle of wine to try and fix things. When Todd cautiously offered coffee as an alternative, Theo lost his temper.
The next day, Todd cleaned up the broken dishes and called in sick to work. At the same time, Gary saw Theo leaving his van and casually explained that Todd and he were just having a disagreement.
Todd tries to cook soup as a peace offering, but gets frustrated and throws the blender. Gary shows up to pick up clothes for Theo and finds everything in disarray. Todd is anxious and worried that Theo might come back at any time.
At the Rovers pub, George, Christina, Sarah, and James attempt to cheer up Todd, but seeing Theo quickly upsets him. He runs away, with Theo chasing after him, determined to have a conversation. Afterwards, James drives a distressed Todd home, while Theo secretly watches them from a distance.

Theo accidentally hears Summer tell George that James slept on the sofa. Enraged, he goes to Speed Daal and spots Adam having a serious conversation with a customer. When Gary explains that the customer is Annie – the woman who claims George committed fraud – Theo becomes curious and walks over to join them.
Things are getting worse for the Shuttleworth family. When Maggie mistreats George, Todd and Christina step in to help, but they end up getting kicked out. Meanwhile, Theo is using a map to follow Todd’s movements.
What has he seen?
2. Jodie Ramsey launches a new feud with Adam Barlow

Adam saw Jodie walking David and immediately started complaining about having to clean up after the dog. Jodie forced a smile, but was secretly very angry about being confronted like that.
Just then, the dog lifted his leg and urinated on Adam’s brand-new car. Inside the café, Tracy was shocked to see the dog behind the counter and immediately threatened to report them to the health department.
Adam later confronts Jodie, showing her the things that made him suspicious. She insists she has no idea what he’s talking about, so he goes home to tell Daniel and Alya what happened. However, it seems like something else is bothering Jodie.

Daniel tells Adam the only way to catch the person responsible is to see them commit the crime. Meanwhile, Jodie and David playfully attach another bag of manure to Adam’s car and run off, laughing. However, their amusement doesn’t last long when Lily urges them to look at the Weatherfield Community page.
Jodie is terrified – if her ex-boyfriend sees the video, he might be able to find her. David promises to talk to Adam about it.
3. Maggie Driscoll is left concerned over Ollie’s new romance

Amy excitedly shares that she and Ollie are going on their first real date, much to Lauren’s annoyance. Lauren brings them drinks, but ‘accidentally’ spills one all over Amy.
Amy is clearly happy after her date with Ollie, and he’s eager to take her out again, this time to a restaurant called Speed Daal. Steve and Ben are excited for them, but Maggie wants Lauren to try and win Ollie back. She convinces Lauren to get dressed up and make Ollie realize what he’s losing.
Ollie can’t resist admiring her as she approaches them.

He later angrily confronted Maggie, blaming her for interfering and claiming she’d used Lauren to sabotage his date. Lauren then revealed her lingering feelings, confessing she still wants to be with him.
TopMob recently shared a surprising revelation: Maggie has a secret from her past. She had a relationship with Jim McDonald in the 1980s, resulting in the birth of their son, Ben. This makes Amy and Ollie half-cousins!
It’s clear that she’s fearful of something serious happening between them both.
4. Megan Walsh’s flirty phone call raises Leanne Battersby’s eyebrow

Sam’s day goes downhill when he suddenly feels sick while waiting for the bus. Leanne quickly takes him home and tells Nick she’s worried there’s more going on than just exam pressure.
She later tells Megan she believes something more serious is bothering him, but Megan dismisses her concerns. While thinking no one is listening, Megan flirts with Will over the phone, but Leanne unexpectedly returns and overhears her.
Sam visits the salon to pick up his books, and Megan can’t help but threaten him again. At the same time, Leanne tells Daniel she’s worried and apologizes for interrupting their earlier, playful phone conversation.

Leanne, Nick, and Toyah all think Sam is overworking himself at school. Meanwhile, Leanne becomes suspicious when Megan suddenly cancels her date with Daniel.
Hope notices Sam seems to be getting bullied and encourages him to confront the person responsible. Meanwhile, Megan threatens Sam, saying if he shares his unbelievable idea about her and Will, people won’t take him seriously.
Inspired by what Hope said, Sam finally finds his courage and says he’s no longer scared. Does this mean Megan’s reign is over?
5. Jim McDonald’s funeral rocks the boat for Maggie and Ben Driscoll

Steve told Tim he’s avoiding Cassie, as he’s not sure he wants to get married again. He also asked Ben to come to Jim’s funeral, explaining he’ll need someone to lean on for support.
Tim feels envious and mentions he at least had some familiarity with Jim. Maggie doesn’t seem impressed either when Ben says he’s going to help Steve.

Liz and Andy aren’t attending the funeral, as they’ve cut ties with Jim. Steve, feeling anxious, goes ahead with the service. Afterwards, people gather at the Rovers pub, and Jim’s former army friends, Declan and Davey, share stories about his time in the military with Steve.
Maggie quietly reminded Ben about his doctor’s appointment the next day and hinted it was time to stop for the night. He ignored her and kept drinking, which caused him to miss his important heart scan the following day.
Look, I get it – Jim’s funeral clearly brought up some tough feelings for Maggie, reminding her of her own father. But honestly, as I watched the scene unfold, it was clear she couldn’t let that grief spill over onto the customers. Eva had to gently but firmly point that out – you can’t take personal pain out on people just trying to enjoy their day.
6. Alya Nazir is hiding a secret from Adam Barlow

Adam proposes a vacation to Alya as a reward for all their work, and she’s excited – but then a troubling text message arrives, leaving her shaken.
Soon after, Alya meets her former boss, Rich, from Fabians.
Is she hiding a new business partnership from Adam, and what will this mean for their relationship?
