8 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. Sam Blakeman is on a mission to expose Will Driscoll and Megan Walsh

Leanne finds a boy’s tracksuit top at the apartment and immediately says it must be Daniel’s. Sam doesn’t believe her and presses Will for information, wondering if there’s a relationship developing between Leanne and their teacher.
Will pretends his idea is silly, but when Sam sees the tracksuit top in his bag, it proves something bad is happening.
Will hurried home to tell Megan they needed to be cautious. Later, Megan noticed a chance to catch Sam while he was studying at Speed Daal. What will she do to get out of this tricky situation?
2. Summer Spellman hits the bottle amid her grief

Summer went to the station and was relieved to find Kit had gotten her stolen backpack back. Thankfully, the bag with her portion of Paul’s ashes was still inside.
The grief of losing both her fathers so close together began to overwhelm her, and while working at the corner shop, she impulsively stole some alcohol.
Roy is heading to meet Alice, a friend he’s been writing to, and stops at Alahan’s shop for some candy. He’s shocked to find Alahan’s daughter, visibly upset and intoxicated, working behind the counter, and immediately calls for help.
But will this mean he misses his date?

Later, Bernie calls by to see Summer and tells her that she’s got a plan for Paul’s ashes.
3. Roy Cropper’s pen pal is hiding a huge secret

Roy told Mary he had to apologize to Alice with flowers after his awkward encounter with Summer, and thankfully, she seems to have accepted his apology.
Roy is thrown when a man claiming to be Alice’s husband, Mal, arrives at the cafe. He finds himself having to explain his connection to Alice.
4. Jodie Ramsey looks set to ignore Abi Webster’s warnings about Carl

After seeing Carl flirting with Jodie, Abi goes to warn her about him. She tells Jodie to avoid getting involved with Carl, as she believes he’ll only cause trouble.
Shona added that Carl cheated on Abi with James, and their relationship actually began as an affair as well.
How will Jodie react when he turns on the charm again?

5. Ryan Connor is attacked by masked robbers at the hotel

I couldn’t believe it when I heard what happened at the Chariot Square Hotel! Two guys, faces covered, just stormed the reception area and forced Ryan to open the safe. Poor Ryan was completely stunned – they were threatening him with a hammer, and he just froze up. It was a really scary situation.
Once they had the money, they started attacking him. He begged them to stop, and luckily, Carl showed up just then.
Can he save Ryan and stop the robbers?
6. Theo Silverton is consumed with guilt at Billy Mayhew’s funeral

Plans for Billy’s funeral are being made, and Theo is having a very difficult time. He feels deeply guilty, believing he was responsible for Billy’s death, and goes to the Bishop hoping for guidance.
The Bishop claims he’s not at fault and advises George to turn to God. While George briefly steps away to observe the undertakers, the Bishop secretly enters the chapel, approaches Billy’s coffin, and expresses his regret for failing to save him.
There’s a sudden door slam, and he’s horrified to think someone has overheard. But who is it?

Debbie locates Todd at Victoria Gardens and offers to contribute £3,000 to the funeral, as she continues to blame herself for the situation. Theo witnesses this and angrily confronts Debbie, but Carl steps in to defend her.
A wave of emotion filled St. Mary’s as Billy’s loved ones – friends, family, and members of his church community – gathered for the service. During the ceremony, Todd became overwhelmed with grief while sharing his heartfelt tribute.
Theo starts speaking, but somehow ends up making Todd feel even more responsible and angry.

Theo discovered a final notice from a credit card company in Todd’s mail at the end of the week. He urged Todd to cancel his credit cards and switch to using only cash, hoping it would help him manage his spending.
7. Bernie Winter-Alahan enters self-destruct mode

After the funeral, Bernie was just… awful to Dev, saying some really mean things. Then she went upstairs with a bottle of wine, clearly trying to cope. I was floored the next day when I found out she was out with her friends, drinking heavily again. It was just… a lot to take in, seeing her like that.
After meeting up with Gemma, Sally, Glenda, and Christina, she initially refused drinks before saying she was going home. However, at the Chariot Square bar, she changed her mind and had another shot, followed by a whisky.
Roy’s friend’s husband, Mal, arrives and reveals his wife is cheating on him, and he’s trying to cope with the pain. Meanwhile, Bernie starts sharing her own troubles, and Ryan realizes she’s reached her limit and asks her to leave.

What will Bernie do when Mal invites her up to his room?
Dev is extremely worried because his wife didn’t come home last night. Kit and Asha try to reassure him she’s alright, while Ryan listens with interest. It’s unclear if Ryan will share any information he has.
As the family arrives at Sally’s for Brody’s birthday, a distraught and embarrassed Bernie appears. She confesses to Gemma that she’s made a mistake, and becomes worried when she spots Mal walking towards them.
8. There are concerns for Kevin Webster’s wellbeing
Abi went to the garage and was surprised to discover Kevin sleeping in a customer’s tractor. He seemed unwell, and she hoped Debbie would be able to assist him.
The two women talked about his recent difficulties and both realized he wasn’t taking care of himself or his work.
