I watched the anime *The Seven Deadly Sins* a while back, which originally aired in 2015, and one of the main conflicts revolves around a villain group called the Ten Commandments. The story follows a princess who’s been cast out and is trying to gather a group of legendary warriors – the Seven Deadly Sins – to help her reclaim her kingdom. These warriors used to be respected knights before being falsely accused of betrayal and exiled. The Ten Commandments stand against them, and they’re incredibly strong fighters, each with a unique and dangerous curse tied to the commandment they represent.

The Ten Commandments were incredibly powerful and resilient warriors, personally chosen by the Demon King from among all demons. Zeldris, Melodias’s brother, used to lead them and wielded the power of Piety. What made fighting them so dangerous was their unique curses, which could be activated by simple actions like turning away from them or harboring negative feelings. Throughout the series, the Ten Commandments posed a major threat, consistently challenging even the powerful Seven Deadly Sins in battle.

6) Twelve Demon Moons

Twelve Demon Moons is a recent anime series that successfully created a truly frightening and memorable group of villains. It’s part of *Demon Slayer*, a dark fantasy anime that began in 2019.
