Loren Brovarnik made a personal decision with the support of her family.
90 Day Fiancé star revealed that she recently had a surgery, as she chose not to have more children.
Loren, aged 37, revealed during the August 19th episode of the ‘Between Us Moms’ podcast that she underwent a hysterectomy around four and a half months prior to the recording. She had chosen to keep this personal matter quiet.
Loren, who is married to Alexei Brovarnik and has kids Shai (5 years old), Asher (3 years old), and Ari (2 years old), chose to do this following a distressing childbirth incident involving their youngest child.
She explained that with the arrival of Ari, we were pushed to our limits. It seemed as though she might cause us harm. In fact, she began to tear her way through my uterus,” she said. “In a rush, we summoned a neonatologist, and within 35 minutes, Ari was out of me. The doctor stated that if I had waited another five minutes, our current discussion wouldn’t be taking place. I started to lose an excessive amount of blood, and Ari would have been submerged in it.
I exclaimed, “If only they’d acted sooner… It’s a painful memory that I find myself still grappling with, one that I haven’t quite been able to fully come to terms with yet.
Despite the harrowing ordeal of childbirth, Loren is now overjoyed to have moved past that experience and proudly showcases the advantages from her surgery, which involved the removal of her uterus.
As a die-hard fan, let me tell you, I’m absolutely thriving! I’ve got the confidence to flaunt my thong swimwear without an ounce of apology. Guess what else? I’ve been dedicating myself to regular workouts. Oh, and did I mention that I had a mommy makeover? Well, now you know! But maintaining the results is part of the journey too.
Regarding his wife Alexi, Loren expressed his excitement about the surgery, stating, “Alexi was truly elated because he understands there’s no potential risk involved.
In my role as a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share a personal insight from Loren’s journey – her hysterectomy experience was significantly eased by the unwavering support of her children. She confided in me that they were her pillars during her recuperation, stepping up to assist her in ways that made all the difference.
She excitedly expressed, ‘Asher is like my guardian.’ During my recent hysterectomy, I knew Ema was hurt, and he wanted to check on it. So, I let him see me. He stayed by my bed for hours, never leaving my side, and held my hand throughout.
For sure, Loren isn’t new to implementing improvements in her life that not only benefit herself but also enhance her role as a mother. In the year 2023, she chose to undergo a mommy makeover, coupled with a hysterectomy, which she claimed drastically improved her life positively.
Loren shared that the choice he made was exceptional for him. This decision significantly improved his self-confidence regarding his body dysmorphia. Although he continues to battle this issue, he admitted that undergoing a ‘mommy makeover’ was the most beneficial action he took for himself.
Indeed, it has impacted me,” she noted. “Now, I find myself more self-assured. And I’m content with that, understanding there’s no shame in that.

The Life & Beth creator continued, “I had a breast reduction and C-section, among other procedures, so I was getting these steroid injections. It turns out this condition, called Cushing syndrome, is what the internet was giving me such a hard time about.”

Hailey Bieber experienced a terrifying incident when she had breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber in March 2022, as she suddenly started showing symptoms similar to a stroke. Speaking about the event on YouTube a month later, Hailey recalled that she couldn’t respond when Justin asked if she was okay and subsequently couldn’t speak or move the right side of her face.
Hailey explained that while her symptoms subsided and her speech returned, she decided to visit the hospital for a checkup. The medical team discovered she had experienced a small blood clot in her brain, which they categorized as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigation at the University of California, Los Angeles revealed that Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO).
According to Hailey, the blood clot traveled into her heart, escaped through the PFO, and went to her brain, resulting in the TIA. Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and is now feeling well.
In the same year Hailey underwent a health crisis, Justin also faced a similar ordeal. Specifically, in 2022, Justin Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that led to temporary facial paralysis and forced him to postpone the rest of his Justice World Tour. He shared on Instagram that this virus affected the nerve in his ear and his facial nerves, causing full paralysis on one side of his face, including his eye not blinking, difficulty smiling, and a non-moving nostril. He mentioned it became progressively harder for him to eat, but eventually, the paralysis subsided. Hailey commented on Good Morning America in June 2022 that Justin is recovering well and feels better now, despite the sudden and frightening situation. She expressed gratitude that he’s okay overall.
As a devoted fan, I’ve always admired Jamie Foxx, so when news about his April 2023 hospitalization emerged privately, I eagerly waited for more details. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he shared his personal ordeal.
One day in Atlanta, he recounted, “I was experiencing such a severe headache, so I asked my friend, ‘Hey, could you fetch me an aspirin?'” Before he could even get the aspirin, he blacked out. He doesn’t recall the next 20 days.
Upon visiting a doctor, who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home, his sister Deidra Dixon sensed something was amiss. She drove him to another hospital where they diagnosed him with a brain bleed that caused a stroke.
Twenty days later, following surgery on May 4, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair, unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
Reflecting on his experience, he expressed his gratitude, “All I can say is that I appreciate every prayer, because I truly needed every prayer.
As a devoted enthusiast, I can share that during the inaugural challenge of the NBC competition show, I experienced a moment where it felt like I had crossed the threshold between life and death while racing a mile.
She stated in Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser, ‘I can’t recall many things.’ However, she recollected the sound of a helicopter. She felt like she was drifting. After that, her grandfather appeared. Then came darkness, but then light followed. This made her aware that she had passed away on that day.
She went on to explain that her bodily functions were failing severely, a condition she later learned was called rhabdomyolysis. Essentially, this means her body was giving indications that it might collapse.
Emilia Clarke, well-known for her role in Game of Thrones, experienced life-threatening health issues when she was hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage in 2019. In an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” published in The New Yorker, she described the traumatic experience that occurred while she was at the gym:
“I became violently ill and felt a worsening, intense pain,” she wrote. “At some level, I knew something wasn’t right with my brain.”
She was immediately rushed to the hospital for a scan, where doctors diagnosed her with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a severe type of stroke. The surgery to seal the aneurysm was extremely painful. During recovery, she experienced aphasia and struggled to communicate coherently.
A week later, she underwent another surgery due to complications, which required them to operate on her skull. Fortunately, Emilia is now recovering well and is in good health. In 2013, she learned that the growth causing her problems had doubled in size, necessitating a third surgery.
The actress shared that she’s now fully recovered and living a healthy life.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses her gratitude towards her family following a severe stroke in January 2024. After she communicated the news via text and shared an image with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024, her loved ones rushed to her aid. Due to additional health issues, Cori’s hospital stay was longer than anticipated. She explained that despite having the opportunity to return home post-stroke, her lupus wasn’t in good condition, and her kidneys were failing. However, today she is recovering well, stating “I’m doing great.” Although she needed to regain some motor skills, overall she was fine.
In my twenties, I experienced numerous health challenges that were far from easy to navigate. At one point, my hearing began to deteriorate, walking for more than a few minutes left me needing extended rest periods, and everything I consumed seemed to upset my stomach. The situation was complex, with various medical professionals offering conflicting advice and diagnoses.
Determined to find answers and improve my condition, I turned to my holistic roots and studied herbalism. This led me to collaborate not only with mainstream doctors but also with independent healers, seeking solace in a sense of well-being within myself.
This journey was arduous and lasted for nearly a decade. Along the way, the physical discomfort I felt extended beyond my body, leading to fear of food and subsequent mental struggles such as body dysmorphia, identity confusion, and feelings of insecurity in my own skin.
Thankfully, after addressing both my physical and mental well-being, I am now in a much better place. I can confidently say that I am healthy and enjoying the benefits of good health once again.
