PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can currently download a highly-rated (90/100) PS5 game for free, but this offer ends soon! You only have until April 21st to add it to your library and play. After that, it will be removed from PlayStation Plus, and you’ll need to buy it from the PlayStation Store for $20. Fortunately, the game takes around 25-35 hours to complete, giving you enough time to enjoy it while it’s still free. This offer isn’t available to PS Plus Essential members.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can enjoy the popular game Dave the Diver for free until April 21st. Released in 2023, Dave the Diver uniquely blends action-adventure gameplay with restaurant management, and it quickly became a critically acclaimed hit – earning a score of 90 on Metacritic and a nomination for Best Independent Game at The Game Awards.
PlayStation Store Fan Favorite
Since its release in 2023, Dave the Diver has been a hit with both critics and players. It currently boasts an impressive 4.79 out of 5-star rating on the PlayStation Store, based on almost 31,000 reviews – which translates to a score of 95.8 out of 100. PlayStation 5 players, in particular, seem to love the game.
PS4 Version Also Available
Besides being available on PS5, the game is currently free for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members until April 21st. The gameplay is unique – you play as Dave, a diver who spends his days exploring the ocean and catching fish. Then, at night, you run a sushi restaurant and use the fish you caught to serve customers. It’s a blend of underwater exploration and restaurant management.
Generally, it takes between 25 and 35 hours to beat Dave the Diver. A standard playthrough usually falls around the lower end of that estimate, while exploring extra content will take closer to 35 hours. If you’re aiming for 100% completion, especially as a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can expect to spend around 50 hours with the game.
We don’t yet know the full list of free games coming to PlayStation Plus in April, but an announcement is expected next week. However, one of the featured games has already been revealed.
