The “Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Package” is set to be released globally for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, regular Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam on November 13, as confirmed by publishers Koei Tecmo and developers Gust.
This set encompasses “Atelier Ryza: Ebon Mysteries & the Hidden Sanctuary DX”, “Atelier Ryza 2: Forgotten Deeds & the Enchanted Forest DX”, and “Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the Twilight & the Concealed Key DX”. Additionally, it offers exclusive content including additional playable characters and new plot twists for each of these three games.
In the Western regions, only digital versions of the collection and each separate game are planned. However, in Japan, both physical and digital versions of the PlayStation 5 and Switch games will be available, either as a combo pack or individual releases. Meanwhile, the Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PC versions will exclusively be digital releases.
Here is an overview of the collection, via Koei Tecmo:
Ryza’s journeys kicked off in the year 2019 with the debut of “Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout”, the latest addition to the Atelier series, marking its 21st installment. In this game, players were introduced to a vibrant group of characters embarking on an expedition to reveal their island’s secrets. The DX version of the game will bring in fresh playable characters like Agatha, Kilo, and Romy. Additionally, it will allow players to explore events happening concurrently with the main storyline, such as Kilo and Bos’s Underworld encounter, along with other occurrences that took place between “Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX” and “Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX”.
In the year 2021, I found myself immersed in the second installment of the Secret series, picking up three years after my initial adventures had concluded. This game, titled Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX, saw me once again joining forces with Ryza and her pals as they face a significant crossroads and unravel fresh mysteries in their quest to find gates leading to the Underworld. Along the way, I had the opportunity to control characters Empel and Lila, and witnessed an exciting new storyline unfold where these companions reunite with Ryza at the capital, offering their aid as she embarks on a new journey across a brand-new map.

First released in 2023, “Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX” marks the conclusion of the Secret series and picks up a year after the storyline presented in “Atelier Ryza 2“. Join Ryza and her companions on their last summer escapade, where they strive to save their island while uncovering the enigma of the “Code of the Universe.” Besides reacquainting with characters from earlier installments and meeting fresh allies like Clifford, Serri, and Kilo, players can also control new characters from “Atelier Ryza” and “Atelier Ryza 2“. The DX version will unveil a supplementary storyline chronicling Clifford and Serri’s adventure post-separation from Ryza. Additionally, players will delve into a new event that sheds light on Kilo and Bos’ relationship and explore an unknown island and its ancient ruins.
To wrap up, all the games will come with enhancements for a better player experience, including innovations like the “Custom Combat” mode where players can select the difficulty and mix of monsters they battle. In Atelier Ryza 2, Fi provides assistance to Ryza during her ruin expeditions, helping locate clues or restoring a little health for party members in combat. A new mount, the “Wind Beast,” debuts in Atelier Ryza 3, automatically gathering ingredients while exploring. Now, content that was previously offered as both free and paid items in the initial trilogy, such as swimsuit costumes, maps, recipes, and more, can be enjoyed by players. Lastly, those who’ve played the Secret series will receive unique bonus items to aid them in their new adventures using save data from previous experiences.
