Justin Timberlake Shares Fiery Message After Lyme Disease Diagnosis

Justin Timberlake is hanging up his suit and tie—for now.

After completing his worldwide tour, the artist who sang “Cry Me a River” took some well-earned leisure time, posting on Instagram Stories a picture of him wearing a shirt that said, “I’m taking it easy today. Job well done.

To drive the point home, Timberlake added three checkmarks in the caption of his Aug. 4 post.

44-year-old’s wife Jessica Biel, who is also the mother of his sons Silas (10) and Phineas (4), was equally excited about his return. On her own Instagram Stories, the actress from 7th Heaven posted a picture of Timberlake and his tour group stepping off their private jet, captioning it, “So glad they’re back home!

For a while now, Timberlake has been traveling extensively. On Instagram, he shared on July 31st: “As these remarkable two years draw to a close and I eagerly anticipate what lies ahead, I felt compelled to express some heartfelt thoughts.

He went on to say that this journey had been incredibly enjoyable, moving, rewarding, challenging, and sometimes exhausting for him. He added that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease during the tour, a condition that is often chronic. If you or someone you know has gone through this disease, then you understand how draining it can be, mentally and physically, as it persistently affects one’s well-being.

Regardless of enduring intense nerve pain and extreme exhaustion following his diagnosis, Timberlake shared that he chose not to halt his touring activities as the pleasure of performing outweighed any short-term anxiety.

The *NSYNC member expressed that it’s an extraordinary, unique vibration, and holds great significance to him. He went on to say he’s unsure about his future performances but will always hold this experience dear. And every prior moment too! To him, it’s nothing short of legendary.

At the end of his post, Timberlake expressed a touching sentiment to his family, saying, “To Jess, Silas, and Phineas… there’s no force stronger than your endless love. You are my very essence and my sanctuary.

The doctors found that Hailey had suffered a small blood clot in her brain, known as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). After additional tests at the University of California, Los Angeles, it was discovered that she had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot had traveled into her heart through this hole and escaped to her brain, causing the TIA.

Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and is now feeling well. Justin had asked Hailey if she was alright during the incident, but she couldn’t respond because of her symptoms. She shared her experience a month later on YouTube.

In the same year when Hailey went through her health ordeal, I too encountered a health challenge – Ramsay Hunt syndrome. This rare condition led to temporary facial paralysis, compelling me to postpone the rest of my Justice World Tour in June 2022.

In an Instagram video, I explained that this virus attacked the nerve in my ear and facial nerves, causing one-sided facial paralysis. As you can see, my eye was not blinking, I could not smile on one side of my face, and my nostril would not move – resulting in full paralysis on that side. Eating became increasingly difficult for me as well.

However, with time, the paralysis subsided, leaving me feeling much better now. My wife Hailey shared during an episode of Good Morning America that I’m doing well and will fully recover. She expressed her relief that I am fine, despite it being a terrifying and unexpected situation.

As a dedicated follower of Jamie Foxx’s career, I was taken aback when news about his April 2023 hospitalization surfaced. However, it wasn’t until his 2024 Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was…”, that he opened up about the ordeal.

In Atlanta, one day I found myself in excruciating pain, asking a friend for an aspirin. But before I could even get the aspirin, I blacked out. I can’t recall 20 days after that incident.

Twenty days later, on May 4, I woke up in a wheelchair, unable to walk. I then headed to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

All I can say is that I’m deeply grateful for every prayer offered during those difficult times because I truly believe I needed each and every one of them.

The doctors explained that her chances of survival were slim if they didn’t operate again, this time through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia is now completely healthy and well.

In January 2024, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, experienced a severe stroke. During this challenging time, her loved ones quickly gathered around her. Speaking to Will Marfuggi from TopMob News in December 2024, Cori shared that she informed them about the stroke via text and sent a picture for confirmation. The outpouring of support was immediate, with everyone rushing to help her.

Due to additional health issues related to lupus, Cori’s hospital stay was prolonged beyond what she had initially anticipated. “I could have been discharged after my stroke,” she said, “but my lupus wasn’t in a good state. My kidneys were failing, and there was a lot going on.”

Thankfully, Cori is recovering well today. She expressed that she is feeling much better, but needed to work on regaining some motor skills. Apart from that, she reported being fine.

During her twenties, the well-being of Shailene Woodley was not ideal. The actress revealed in a podcast episode of SHE MD from September 2024 that she experienced significant health issues, including losing her hearing, struggling to walk for extended periods without needing rest, and stomach problems with every meal. She described it as a “conflation of issues and diagnoses” with various doctors providing conflicting advice.

Determined to find answers, Shailene, who has a holistic background and studies herbalism, sought help from both conventional medical professionals and alternative healers. This journey took 10 years.

During this time, the actress from Big Little Lies also struggled mentally due to discomfort in her physical state. She expressed fear of food, which led to body dysmorphia, confusion about identity, and feelings of insecurity and uncertainty regarding her own body and self-image.

After addressing both her physical and mental health issues, Shailene is now feeling much better. She shared that she is “very healthy” and happy to be able to say so.
