As the open beta for Battlefield 6 approaches, bringing an undisclosed variety of modes, maps, and weapons, players of Battlefield Labs have something exciting to anticipate as well. The official Twitter account for the series shared a brief video teasing the new Battle Royale mode, showcasing several soldiers (and vehicles) scrambling away from a colossal explosion.
To clarify any confusion, Kevin Johnson, our global community manager, has officially announced that Battle Royale is indeed making its way to Battlefield Labs. He also confirmed that those who registered for playtests will receive early access to the beta starting on August 7th, regardless of whether they were chosen or not.
The open beta for Battlefield 6 starts on August 9th and lasts until the 10th, with preloading available now. It will be back from the 14th to the 17th. The complete game is set to release on October 10th on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. Keep an eye out for further updates and delve deeper into Battlefield Studios’ strategy regarding a server browser.
