Green Wing icon joins Sweetpea season 2 as returning and new cast confirmed for killer drama

However, since she has channelled her anger into strength, Rhiannon must ponder if her former boyfriend, AJ, may have been correct in his assessment: could she truly be a beast?

It’s been verified that Tamsin Greig, known for her roles in Green Wing, Friday Night Dinner, and Dick Turpin, will be cast as the mother of the deceased character AJ (previously played by Calam Lynch) in Sweetpea during its second season.

Besides Greig, another newcomer has joined the team. This includes Rish Shah, who will take on the character of Gabriel – Rhiannon’s newest love interest, and Taj Atwal, known for his role as Daddy Issues, is set to portray her new superior, Freya.

Actress Jenny Walser, recognized for portraying the reserved sibling of Heartstopper’s Charlie Spring (played by Joe Locke), has also been chosen to play Daisy, a character who will reportedly form a loving friendship with Rhiannon.

It’s yet unknown if any of these unlucky people will make it through their encounter with the cunning murderer.
