The distribution of these unique Farigirafs begins on August 15th, and players have until August 22nd to add Luca’s Farigiraf to their own collection.
Luca Ceribelli’s Farigiraf has an unique playstyle and fits well in a Miraidon team. It leverages Electric Terrain by using the Electric Seed item to enhance its Defense. By additionally utilizing a Water Tera, it can withstand attacks that would otherwise have knocked it out. Its repertoire of moves includes Foul Play, Helping Hand, Psychic Noise, and Trick Room.

What sets it apart is its unique ability, Armor Tail. This feature is a game-changer, as it shuts down the use of all priority moves, ensuring pesky Pokémon like Incineroar can’t pull off tricks like Fake Out. But that’s not all – Farigiraf also lends a helping hand to its teammate with Helping Hand, boosting the damage output of its partner Pokémon. It’s a fantastic addition to any strategy!
Farigiraf is also known for setting up Trick Room effectively. Its natural sturdiness often allows it to withstand attacks, thereby establishing the Trick Room and enabling slower Pokémon like itself to act first in the reversed turn order. Many trainers who own a Farigiraf typically use it to instate Trick Room or counter Trick Room teams.
Additionally, Farigiraf is capable of dealing significant damage. Its moves such as Hyper Voice and Psychic Noise can trigger the Throat Spray item if Farigiraf has it equipped, enhancing its Special Attack power for the following uses. Without this item, however, Farigiraf should not be underestimated.
