In natural and easy-to-read language:
Yuki Tabata’s popular action-fantasy series, “Black Clover,” makes a comeback with new chapters scheduled for release by Jump GIGA in Summer 2025. The manga is nearing its conclusion, and the recent issue included three extra chapters to celebrate the manga’s 10th anniversary. Asta and Yuno are the only ones left to confront Lucius Zogratis. However, things take a turn for the worse when Lucius reveals his full power, linking himself to all Grimoire Towers. Before this, he was already a tough opponent, but now with an endless supply of spells at his disposal, he’s become even more formidable. Caught off guard, both Asta and Liebe are defeated by Lucius, who is now poised to attack Yuno next.
Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Black Clover Chapters 381-383!
Despite the unexpected turn of events, nobody foresaw Asta relinquishing his Demon Dweller sword and Anti-Magic abilities to his rival. With this newfound Anti-Magic prowess, Yuno is poised to challenge the villain, but vanquishing Lucius remains a challenging feat. The use of Anti-Magic carries a significant disadvantage: as Yuno experiences an immense power surge, his mana is swiftly depleting. This means that Lucius merely needs to wait for Yuno to exhaust his mana before eliminating him. In the heat of battle in Black Clover, Yuno finds himself reflecting on the tireless efforts Asta has made to reach this point, as he encounters the weight of the Demon Dweller Sword up close.
Yuno Realizes Swinging the Anti-Magic Sword Is a Lot Harder Than It Looks

Typically, mages focus solely on enhancing their magical prowess, neglecting physical training. Yuno follows this pattern, having devoted his life to mastering spells, with remarkable success due to his exceptional talent. Unlike Yuno, however, Asta lacks mana entirely. Since childhood, he’s been determined to surpass Yuno and claim the title of Wizard King. As a result, he trains relentlessly, bordering on obsession. Yet, it was his unyielding determination and willingness to exceed himself that initially earned Yuno’s respect for Asta, and granted him an edge, not only by nullifying magic but also through sheer persistence.
In the thrilling world of Black Clover, I’ve been constantly driven by my comrade, Asta, to push myself harder and chase after our shared dream since day one. This determined duo has made significant strides towards our grandest ambition ever since. Thanks to Asta’s relentless years of grueling physical training, he wields those massive Anti-Magic swords as if they were featherweight. It might seem effortless on his part, but the sheer weight left me gasping for breath when I first tried to shoulder it. In chapter 381, a moment of genuine admiration slipped out of Yuno as he labeled Asta a “bulky powerhouse,” expressing his wonder over how effortlessly he could handle that sword. Despite the slight jibe at my expense, this instance clearly demonstrates Yuno’s genuine respect for me – recognizing the countless hours I’ve invested in mastering my methods, as we both strive to become the Wizard King together.
