What Matilda’s Kiami Davael Has Been Up to 29 Years After Film

Kiami Davael‘s newest chapter is in bloom.

Approximately three decades following Matilda’s enchanting cinema debut, the actress who shared screen time with Mara Wilson as Matilda’s best friend is offering fans a peek into her life and her experiences related to the iconic film in the documentary titled “The Story of Kiami Davael.

In about three weeks, Kiami shared on her August 3 Instagram video that she will commence the filming of her documentary. She’s extremely thrilled, deeply thankful, and filled with gratitude as this project holds significant importance to her for numerous reasons.

In a one-hour special, we’ll be taking a closer look at the life of the 38-year-old woman, tracing her transformation from a child actress to where she is now.

Regarding what fans might encounter in this documentary, Filmmaker Jahmar Hill revealed to BlexMedia in March that it will include unique interviews with Matilda’s cast members, insights from behind the scenes, and an exploration of the movie’s enduring influence, all seen through Kiami’s perspective.

In a celebration of Matilda reaching its 30-year milestone, he expressed his joy in honoring Kiami’s remarkable journey and the profound influence she’s had on fans globally, including himself. This upcoming special will delve into her portrayal of Lavender, while also highlighting the person behind the character and Kiami’s current self.

At the tender age of 10, Kiami first appeared on screen in a movie directed by Danny DeVito. However, she chose to retreat from the limelight around the year 2000, following minor roles in television shows such as Moesha, In the House, and Grown Ups.

Back in the day, when I had a moment to breathe, I dove into higher education and snagged a Bachelor’s in Psychology from a college that opened my mind even further. Fast-forward through the years, and here we are, with me ready to etch my unique signature onto the world of psychology, just as I shared with Carvd N Stone last November.

She mentioned, “Being absent from the camera felt noticeable to me, thus I made sure to seize that opportunity and resume my role in front of it.

Now, Kiami is focusing on producing, directing, writing and working on her new EP.

As she put it, “It’s a lot of amazing things that are happening.”

Ever since I unfastened Lavender’s braids and took off her wire-rimmed spectacles, I’ve felt a profound sense of gratitude for the unwavering backing I’ve received.

She shared with Urban Girl Magazine in 2016 that she was deeply moved by the attention, adding, “I’m genuinely grateful for people taking an interest in my professional journey and activities.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas, famously known for his role as the brainy and charming middle child Randy Taylor on “Home Improvement” since 1991, also made a mark in the movie industry during that decade. He lent his voice to young Simba in “The Lion King,” although it was not him singing, and shared the screen with Brad Renfro in the 1995 film “Tom and Huck.” In 1997, he acted alongside Devon Sawa in “Wild America.

Instead of leaving “Home Improvement” in 1998 (where Randy went to Costa Rica), he chose to concentrate on his education. However, he continued to act in other extracurricular activities.

In the year 2004, he played a regular character on “8 Simple Rules.” Later, in 2013, he joined forces with his TV father, Tim Allen, not only to direct but also to make appearances in several episodes of “Last Man Standing.

Although JTT stepped back from public view to lead a life that led to his graduation from Columbia University in 2010, it is not necessary for him to appear on-screen for him to create a stir. On infrequent instances when the paparazzi manage to capture him, these sightings quickly become viral.

6-year-old Lipnicki had few movie debuts as impressive as his, particularly in terms of charm, when he matched wits with Tom Cruise in “Jerry Maguire.” He even got almost as many memorable lines. After that, he took on roles in the “Stuart Little” series, “Doctor Dolittle” (voicing Baby Tiger), “The Little Vampire,” and “Little Mike,” and made an appearance on “Dawson’s Creek.” However, before diving back into acting, he decided to pause for a typical high school experience.

In his adult years, he remains active in the entertainment industry, featuring in the Lifetime movie titled “Secrets at the Museum” that will air in 2023. Originating from Los Angeles, this individual is not only a skilled black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu but also stepped forward to offer extra security outside a downtown synagogue in May 2021, during an increase in anti-Semitic incidents and vandalism.

Back in 2017, Lipnicki took to Instagram to share his story of being bullied during middle school. He did this with the hope that by disclosing his own experiences, he might provide a sense of solace for others who may be going through similar situations.

He was constantly bullied by some kids who, presumably over time, may have regretted their past behavior and attempted to reconnect with him on Facebook. He reminisced about being told he was washed-up and would never land another job. Every night, he suffered from anxiety attacks, dreading the following day’s embarrassment. However, he persevered and expressed gratitude for the wonderful life he has now, hopeful that he can impart the knowledge that things do indeed improve.

Wilson starred in Mrs. Doubtfire at 6 and Matilda at 9 before putting acting on the back burner.

In 2016, the author and advocate published her autobiography titled “Where Am I Now?: Tales of Childhood and Unexpected Notoriety.” She also made guest appearances on the TV series “Broad City” and lent her voice to several animated shows, including “BoJack Horseman, “Big Hero 6: The Series,” and “Helluva Boss.

One time, a person I thought was a friend casually asked me with a wide grin, ‘What’s it like to have reached your zenith?’ Wilson wrote in a February 2021 op-Ed for the New York Times on the challenges of early fame for women. ‘I didn’t know what to say at the time,’ she explained, ‘but now I’d respond differently: That’s not the right question. I haven’t reached my peak, because for me, my story is no longer being dictated by someone else. I can author it myself.’

By the time Gordon-Levitt took on the role of Tommy Solomon, a character from an extraterrestrial fact-finding team disguised as ordinary humans on “3rd Rock From the Sun,” he had already accumulated significant acting experience. This TV series debuted in 1996, which was also the year he made an appearance as Demi Moore’s son in the thriller movie “The Jury.

In the late 1990s, he portrayed a charming character smitten in “10 Things I Hate About You.” Later, in 2004, he took on the role of a street-smart individual in “Mysterious Skin.” Additionally, he starred as a relentless high school detective unraveling the mystery of his ex-girlfriend’s disappearance in the 2005 film noir titled “Brick.

As a connoisseur of contemporary culture, I must admit that Joseph Gordon-Levitt has effortlessly maintained a youthful appearance that belies his age, yet he’s transformed himself into compelling adult characters across various film projects. Some of his most notable performances include roles in “500 Days of Summer,” “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” “Inception,” “50/50,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” “Looper,” “Lincoln,” “Don Jon” (which he also penned and directed), and “Snowden.”

More recently, Gordon-Levitt has delved deeper into real-life moments, portraying a prosecutor in the 2020 courtroom drama “The Trial of the Chicago 7.” He also tackled the role of Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick in the acclaimed series “Super Pumped.

He quietly married Tasha McCauley in 2014 and they share three children.

Due to her extraordinarily mature performance in the film The Professional, released in 1994 when she was only 12 years old, Portman quickly gained a level of seriousness and respect. Since then, she has continued to live up to this reputation by starring in numerous high-profile films such as Star Wars: Episodes I through III, the Thor franchise, Avengers: Endgame, indie favorites like Beautiful Girls and Garden State, comedies such as Mars Attacks! and Your Highness, intense dramas including Closer and Brothers, and apocalyptic thrillers like V for Vendetta and Annihilation.

In simpler terms, she received the Best Actress Oscar for her role as a ballerina losing her sanity in the 2010 film “Black Swan.” She was also nominated for portraying Jacqueline Kennedy following her husband’s death in the movie “Jackie.” Her first directorial venture in features was in 2015 with “A Tale of Love and Darkness,” an adaptation of Amos Oz’s autobiographical novel.

As a die-hard admirer, let me share a piece of my idol’s life journey: In 2012, I was overjoyed to hear that the brilliant choreographer from “Black Swan,” Benjamin Millepied, tied the knot. Together, we welcomed our son, Aleph, and daughter, Amalia, into this world. However, with a heavy heart, I learned that they formally parted ways in 2024.

Jones gained widespread recognition as the character portrayed as Jon Cryer’s unfortunate divorcé (and nephew of Charlie Sheen’s songwriter with a playboy reputation) in the popular sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ from the 2000s. In 2012, a video emerged online featuring Jones criticizing the show, labeling it as “filth.” The video was taken during a 15-minute religious speech for Forerunner Chronicles, a ministry based in Alabama that follows the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

Later, Jones expressed regret for demonstrating a lack of consideration and respect towards my peers, as well as not fully appreciating the exceptional chance that I was fortunate enough to receive.

This version maintains the original meaning but rephrases it in a more conversational and easier-to-understand manner.

The actor soon left the series, but returned for the finale in 2015.

Jones, who reportedly earned $350,000 per episode during his last season as a regular cast member on CBS sitcom, shared with Houston TV station KHOU that the show seemed to joke about serious issues in our society, which were genuine concerns for many people. He admitted that he was a paid actor who continued to participate despite not agreeing with the humor, because the topics were problematic for him.

Prior to earning a 2023 credit on IMDb for the Max series “Bookie”, his most recent acting credit was from Louis C.K.’s 2016 limited series, “Horace & Pete”.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can share that in 2016, I open up about my journey to People magazine, revealing that I spent my college years at the University of Colorado Boulder, living a life I described as “normal.” However, I’ve transformed significantly since then. I used to harbor quite apocalyptic thoughts, but now I’m embracing life and having a blast where I am. The constant sense of danger no longer shadows my steps as it once did.

Discussing actors who might have been identified solely with one famous role, Daniel Radcliffe has shown great courage in exploring and accepting diverse parts outside of Harry Potter. He has taken on challenging roles in plays such as Equus and The Cripple of Inishmaan, as well as the classic musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. On screen, he has portrayed Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings and a flatulent corpse in Swiss Army Man, and on television, an opioid-addicted physician in A Young Doctor’s Notebook.

Lately, he completed a four-season stint on Miracle Workers, starred as the lead in The Al Yankovic Story and reappeared on Broadway for Merrily We Roll Along.

On a personal note, Radcliffe is dad to a son with longtime partner Erin Darke.

She first appeared as an actress at about 6 years old in the spinoff of the Andy Griffith Show, called Mayberry R.F.D., and she received her initial Oscar nomination at just 14 for her role as a girl exploited by a sinister pimp in Taxi Driver. The girl’s predicament was the catalyst for the violent actions taken by Robert De Niro‘s character, Travis Bickle. In 1976, Foster also starred in the original Freaky Friday, a drastic change in tone from her role in Taxi Driver, making her more of a mainstream child star.

As a die-hard fanatic, I took a moment to immerse myself in the hallowed halls of Yale University before reemerging, triumphantly claiming my first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. This recognition was bestowed upon me for my portrayal of a courageous gang-rape victim seeking justice against her assailants in the 1988 film, “The Accused.” Little did I know that my own journey would take an unexpected turn as I found myself standing trial, not in court but on the silver screen.

Fast forward to 1991, I made my directorial debut with the heartwarming drama, “Little Man Tate.” Just a year later, I added another Oscar statuette to my collection for my powerful performance as an ambitious FBI trainee in “The Silence of the Lambs.

The actress-cum-filmmaker received the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the 2013 Golden Globes. In recent years, she has delved more into television directing, taking charge of episodes from shows like ‘House of Cards’, ‘Black Mirror’ and ‘Orange Is the New Black’. Her notable big-screen works during the 21st century encompass ‘Panic Room’, ‘Inside Man’, ‘Elysium’, ‘Hotel Artemis’ and ‘The Mauritanian’. Surprisingly, she won a Golden Globe for supporting actress in 2021 for her work in ‘The Mauritanian’.

I’m proud to be a mom to two wonderful sons, having been previously involved with Cydney Bernard. In the year 2014, I was blessed to tie the knot with the remarkable photographer and director, Alexandra Hedison.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Just as it was a logical step for Jodie Foster, my mentor and fellow child actress, to guide me when we portrayed a mother-daughter duo in David Fincher’s 2002 thriller ‘Panic Room’, it feels natural for me to share my experiences with fame, particularly after I landed the extraordinary, transformative role of Bella Swan in the Twilight series at the tender age of sixteen. This fame, however, has taken on a whole new dimension in this Internet era.

In 2019, speaking with Stellar magazine, Stewart expressed that Foster once believed he wouldn’t carry on acting. However, this assumption had nothing to do with his talent and everything to do with her humble nature. As for himself, Stewart confessed, “I adore my profession, but I can understand why she might have thought that about me when I was young. I hold her in high regard.

Although the Chanel muse, who gained fame from the Twilight saga, has found a steady stream of work since its conclusion, her recent projects have leaned towards smaller, more personal films. Notable among these are The Clouds of Sils Maria, for which she was the first American actress to win a Cesar Award (France’s equivalent of the Oscars), as well as Personal Shopper, the chilling drama Spencer, and Seberg, which, while not biopics in the traditional sense, still showcase her versatile acting abilities.

Following the well-known breakup with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart’s romantic life mostly involved dating women, culminating in her marriage to Dylan Meyer in 2025.

Before becoming famous for erasing half of Earth’s population, the actor James Brolin’s son initially made his mark by portraying the charismatic and protective older brother Brandon Walsh in the 1985 film “The Goonies”.

Brolin subsequently starred in numerous films such as “Flirting with Disaster,” “Mimic,” “No Country for Old Men” (which won the Best Picture Oscar and boosted his career), “American Gangster,” “W.” playing 43rd President George W. Bush, “Milk,” where he was nominated for an Academy Award as Dan White, the San Francisco councilman who murdered city official Harvey Milk, “Jonah Hex,” “True Grit,” “Sicario,” “Deadpool 2,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame,” appearing as Thanos with CGI, and the science fiction epic “Dune,” parts one and the sequel to follow.

In my personal journey, I have two children from my first marriage to the remarkable Alice Adair. Post that union, I was blessed with a partnership with Diane Lane from 2004 until 2013. Fast forward to 2016, when I tied the knot with Kathryn Boyd. Together, we welcomed our daughter Westlyn Reign Brolin in 2018 and were overjoyed to expand our family further with the arrival of Chapel Grace Brolin in December 2020.

At just 10 years old, she first appeared in films, sharing the screen with Cher and Winona Ryder in both “Mermaids” (1990) and “The Addams Family,” where she portrayed the character of Wednesday Addams alongside Riccia. The following year saw her second film release.

1990s nostalgia was created through movies like Casper and Now and Then, before Ricci ventured into portraying intricate characters in films such as The Opposite of Sex, Buffalo ’66, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Sleepy Hollow, Prozac Nation, Pumpkin, and Monster. In these latter roles, she portrayed the girlfriend of serial killer Aileen Wuornos, a role that Charlize Theron won an Oscar for.

Over the last three decades, I’ve found myself immersed in an array of adventurous roles that have pushed my boundaries. From embodying a stylish ’60s flight attendant in the series Pan Am to enduring physical hardships like being chained to a radiator in Black Snake Moan, and even portraying intriguing historical figures such as Lizzie Borden in The Lizzie Borden Chronicles or Zelda Fitzgerald in Z: The Beginning of Everything. Each character has offered me unique challenges and opportunities for growth.

Ricci is the mother of her son Freddie, who she had with her former spouse James Heerdegen, as well as her daughter Cleopatra, whom she shares with her current partner Mark Hampton.

In December of 2021, the star of the Yellowjackets series, whose name isn’t specified here, gave birth to a daughter named Cleopatra. This event took place with the help of Mark Hampton, who had recently married her in October of the same year.

McCallum, who shot to fame at just 10 years old in the classic movie “Home Alone,” had already been honing his craft since he was 5, appearing in TV films like “Uncle Buck” and “Jacob’s Ladder.” After taking a nearly decade-long break following his role in “Ri¢hie Ri¢h” in 1994, this versatile artist has returned to acting sporadically, often choosing smaller projects with significant cultural impacts like “Party Monster” and “Saved.

Following his appearances on Adult Swim’s “Robot Chicken” and portraying a barista version of himself on “The Jim Gaffigan Show”, Macaulay Culkin is expected to appear in the 10th season of “American Horror Story,” set to air in 2021, assuming all pandemic-related precautions are properly addressed.

The actor is currently in a relationship with Brenda Song and they have two sons together. Their first son, Dakota Song Culkin, was named after the actor’s older sister Dakota who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2008. Their second son, Carson, made his public debut at his father’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on December 1st, 2023 when he was just 12 months old.

It appears that Dakota transitioned from portraying Ally McBeal’s 5-year-old self and Sean Penn’s 6-year-old daughter in the movie “I Am Sam” to setting a path as the first female police officer turned private detective in the period drama “The Alienist,” not all at once, but rather over a significant period of time.

She’s been putting in an incredible amount of effort for over 20 years, delivering standout performances in films such as Uptown Girls, Man on Fire, Hide and Seek, War of the Worlds, Charlotte’s Web, The Secret Life of Bees, three Twilight movies, American Pastoral, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, where she portrayed Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, a follower of real-life Charles Manson.

Apart from acting alongside Elle Fanning in the movie “The Nightingale,” she also received a Golden Globe nomination in 2025 for her portrayal of Marge Sherwood in the Netflix mini-series titled “Ripley.

Although she first gained recognition portraying the younger version of Dakota Fanning’s character in the movie “I Am Sam” titled “Lucy 2 years,” this actress has since carved out a unique path for herself in acting and personal style, distinct from her equally successful sister Dakota.

She accumulated typical roles as the child of established movie stars across films like “Daddy Day Care“, “The Door in the Floor“, “Babel“, and “Reservation Road“. Additionally, she made appearances on numerous episodes of various CSI spin-offs, Criminal Minds, House, Law & Order: SVU, and possibly other shows that were probably beyond her age limit when she was part of them. However, as a teenager and into her twenties, her film career expanded across various genres. This ranged from family-friendly movies such as “We Bought a Zoo“, “Maleficent” to young adult films like “Super 8“, “Twixt“. She also starred in prestigious dramas like “Trumbo“, “20th Century Women“, as well as eerie fantasies such as “The Neon Demon“, “The Beguiled“.

In addition to her journey, she has portrayed Mary Shelley in a movie bearing the same title, as well as Catherine the Great in the satirical series “The Great” available on Hulu.

Over time, the performer who was well-known for her role in the Disney Channel’s “Lizzie McGuire” has matured. She smoothly transitioned from that show to roles suitable for families, including “Agent Cody Banks,” “Cheaper by the Dozen,” and “A Cinderella Story.

Following a period without much prominent appearances, Duff has shone once more in the TV Land series Younger, portraying a complex character who works alongside Sutton Foster’s character, a 40-year-old pretending to be a millennial. The critically acclaimed show is set for its seventh season. Although the idea of a spin-off focusing on Duff’s Younger character Kelsey is enticing, original fans are eagerly anticipating her reprisal as Lizzie instead. However, the revival of this beloved series has been put on hold for Disney+.

She has since starred in two seasons of  How I Met Your Father.

Duff and former hockey player Mike Comrie, who is Luca Comrie’s father, parted ways in 2014 following nearly four years of marriage and eventually got divorced. Later, she had a daughter named Banks Violet Koma with songwriter Matthew Koma, whom she later married in 2019. In 2021, they added two more daughters to their family: Mae James Koma and Townes Meadow Koma, with the latter joining the family in May 2024.

The younger sibling of Kirk Cameron, who was famous for his role in Growing Pains, became a trendsetter for young girls everywhere with her stylish hairstyle, as she portrayed the studious eldest Tanner sister D.J. on Full House, which aired from 1987 to 1995.

She’s appeared in a series of TV films, some carrying significant themes, like the 1996 production “No One Would Tell,” which is based on a true story about a high school student who was brutally murdered by her 16-year-old boyfriend after enduring his abuse in silence for several months (and unfortunately, this tragedy still resonates today).

More recently, following a two-season stint as a co-host on The View, and rejoining nearly the entire Tanner family for five seasons of Netflix’s Fuller House, Candace has risen to prominence as the leading lady in Hallmark Channel’s Christmas specials, and also stars in their Aurora Teagarden murder-mystery series, which is adapted from the novels by Charlaine Harris.

In the year 2021, she marked her 25th wedding anniversary with Valeri Bure, a retired NHL player, and together they have three kids.

Over the course of eight seasons, Stephanie Tanner, played by Sweetin, battled with substance abuse involving drugs and alcohol. She openly shared this personal struggle in her 2009 memoir titled “unSweetined.

From 2002 to 2016, three marriages contributed to the media buzz, as did her short-lived engagement with Justin Hodak. Hodak, with his multiple problems, breached a restraining order that had been imposed on him, leading to his imprisonment for over six years in 2019 due to illegal possession of a deadly weapon and fabrication of evidence.

Since 2008, the mother of Zoie and Beatrix has been sober. For five seasons on Netflix’s Fuller House, she reconnected with the Tanner family. She has also starred in various Hallmark Channel films, such as Merry and Bright (2019) and Just Swipe.

The part of Michelle Tanner from the beloved ABC sitcom “Full House,” who evolved from an adorable newborn to a smart and spunky 6-year-old, was jointly played by twins, who leveraged their fame into numerous films (both big screen and direct-to-video), a production company, children’s fashion lines, books, and various other products. This multi-faceted endeavor ultimately formed the Olsen business empire.

After 2004’s “New York Minute,” Mary-Kate persisted with acting, participating in the cast of “Weeds” for a season and featuring in films like “The Wackness” and “Beastly.” In contrast, Ashley largely stepped away from acting and is currently known primarily as co-founders of The Row, an award-winning fashion brand along with Elizabeth & James.

In the year 2023, Ashley gave birth to her first baby with her spouse, Louis Eisner, in a quiet manner. Mary-Kate tied the knot with Olivier Sarkozy in 2015 and sought a divorce from him in 2020.

Before achieving fame as a movie star, winning an Oscar for The Revenant, dating high-profile models, and living the luxurious yacht life, Leonardo DiCaprio was initially a homeless teenager who moved in with the Seaver family on Growing Pains in 1991. Known for his youthful appearance despite being 16 when he joined the show and having years of acting experience under his belt, DiCaprio earned his first of six Oscar nominations for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He played a series of troubled characters in A Boy’s Life, The Basketball Diaries, Marvin’s Room, and portrayed a Romeo entangled in love problems in Romeo + Juliet.

He still kinda looked like a kid in Titanic, but at 22 he had reached full-on heartthrob status.

For the past ten years, Leonardo DiCaprio has appeared in notable films including Inception, The Wolf of Wall Street, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, The Revenant (earning his first Best Actor Oscar), and Killers of the Flower Moon.

Accio, adulthood!

After making a strong debut as Hermione Granger in eight Harry Potter movies, the British actress transitioned to young adult roles like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Bling Ring. She also shared the screen with Tom Hanks in The Circle, and as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, she has been using her platform to empower women globally and advocate for gender equality.

The young actor from New Mexico, who was born there, made an impressive debut at the age of 15 and received a nomination for a Golden Globe for his role as a melancholic boy forming a bond with the family’s housekeeper in the TV movie “Clara’s Heart” (1988). However, the actor could have faced difficulties in his acting career when he starred in the drama-comedy series “Doogie Howser, M.D.”, where he portrayed a 16-year-old genius doctor. The actor humorously suggested that things went wrong for him when he playfully mocked himself in the movie “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle”.

Despite a temporary slump as he took time to recover from his excessive youthful lifestyle in Hollywood’s glamour, he immersed himself deeply in theater, participating in three Broadway productions among others. The ideal television opportunity eventually emerged for him, taking the form of charming playboy Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother, earning him four Emmy nominations. In a remarkable year of 2010, he was nominated for three Emmys and received two wins: one for co-producing the 2009 Tonys and another for his guest appearance on Glee.

This versatile performer, known for his abilities in acting, singing, dancing, and magic, has hosted the Tonys on four occasions, each time receiving an Emmy for outstanding special class programming as a producer. He’s also taken home the Emmys twice and the Oscars once, in 2015. In 2014, he was awarded a Tony for Best Actor in a Musical, starring in the production of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

In the year 2010, Harris and his long-term companion David Burtka became parents through surrogacy to children Gideon and Harper, and they finally got married in 2014.

At the tender age of 4, she captivated audiences as the adorable scene-stealer Olivia on The Cosby Show. Following this, she starred in films like The Little Rascals, Doctor Dolittle, and both parts of Doctor Dolittle 2. In 2003, she earned her own beloved Disney Channel sitcom, That’s So Raven. During this time, she not only showcased her unforgettable fashion sense as the psychic teen protagonist but also made guest appearances in various other Disney productions such as The Cheetah Girls, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Kim Possible, and Sonny With a Chance.

Following the conclusion of her show in 2007, Raven-Symoné appeared on various TV shows such as “American Dad”, “Nashville”, “State of Georgia”, “The Jim Gaffigan Show”, “Master of None”, and “Drunk History”. She also had a recurring role on “Black-ish”. Additionally, Raven-Symoné spent three seasons as a co-host on “The View” and, in June 2020, she got married to Miranda Maday.
