After a significant wait, finally, the release date for Arctic Awakening has been announced, and it’s just around the corner.
As a thrilled enthusiast, I’m excited to share that my long-awaited journey begins on September 18, 2025! The first-person narrative adventure, which was initially announced back in 2021, is finally making its way to PS5. This exciting news was recently unveiled in a fresh trailer, and I can hardly contain my anticipation!

GoldFire Studios has been working on the game Arctic Awakening for a full five years, initially intending to launch it as a series of episodes in 2022.
However, the team shifted to a single release instead, and is finally on the verge of release.

In this game, you assume the role of pilot Kai. During a regular trip above Alaska, your aircraft encounters trouble and crash-lands, leaving you stranded amidst the frigid wilderness.
His co-pilot Donovan is missing, and all he has for company in the cold is a therapy robot.
Absolutely, it’s not just about enduring the weather and finding Donovan; there’s also an enigma that needs solving. The dialogue you choose and the paths you take in the narrative will influence the dynamics between the characters.
It looks kinda like a frosty Firewatch, and we’re certainly down for a game like that.
