Konami is creatively promoting the highly anticipated remake of 2004’s “Metal Gear Solid 3,” named “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater,”, through distinctive methods. Whereas the previous gameplay demonstration highlighted the Peace Walker Sneaking Suit, which minimizes footstep sounds, this time they are emphasizing the Glasses cosmetic feature.
Alongside their scientist-like attire (it serves a purpose during gameplay), they are suggested to bear a distinctive feature. Upon closer inspection, you can discern the Delta emblem on the side of each lens. Although it’s somewhat subtle, the significance behind the ‘Delta’ name in this remake, as well as why Konami chose it, still remains unclear.
With the purchase of the “Sneaking DLC Pack,” which is part of the Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll receive The Glasses cosmetic item, as well as additional outfits. This package also offers a 48-hour head start, enabling fans to begin playing the game earlier than others.
The action-adventure game titled “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” is set to release on August 28th, compatible with Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. You can get a sneak peek of it from August 20th to 24th at Gamescom, and it’s also scheduled to be showcased during the Xbox Gamescom live stream on August 21st.
