According to the BBC’s confirmation, the airing of Ozzy Osbourne‘s documentary “Coming Home” has been postponed at the request of his family to allow for a later release date.
Initially scheduled for broadcast on August 18th, the BBC announced that the program would not be aired, without offering an explanation for the change.
An episode of Fake or Fortune was put in its place.
The movie was unveiled not long after the rockstar’s demise, with just under three weeks having passed since his last performance with Black Sabbath bandmates, which marked his farewell concert.
This movie offers a deeply personal account, capturing the final phase of a musician’s life, with exclusive insights into the Osbourne family. The filming spanned over a period of three years.

The narrative centered around Sharon and Ozzy’s pursuit of returning to the United Kingdom, a goal they were striving to achieve. Meanwhile, Ozzy was making efforts to regain his fitness level so he could continue performing, all while the family faced challenges due to his health issues.
The executive producers at Expectation, Ben Wicks and Colin Barr, expressed their gratitude for having had the opportunity over the past few years to work closely with Ozzy, along with Sharon, Jack, and Kelly.
Ozzy longed to return to the UK for a final on-stage appearance, and our movie offers a touching and motivating portrayal of him achieving this dream.
Over countless regions, Ozzy was adored not only for his melodious tunes, but also for his playful spirit and straightforwardness, traits that were vividly displayed during the latter part of his life.
However, what truly stood out to us was the profound love Ozzy had for his extraordinary family, who remained steadfast by his side throughout everything.
