Perrie Edwards is looking back at one of the hardest moments of her life.
The female member of Little Mix, who is a mother to three-year-old Axel with her partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, has recently opened up about a challenging miscarriage she experienced only a few months after giving birth in 2021.
At a point when Axel wasn’t yet taking his first steps, Perrie discovered she was expecting during an August 19 conversation on the ‘We Need to Talk’ podcast. She had been rehearsing for the Little Mix tour when she started feeling unwell. She thought, ‘I don’t feel well.’ She experienced a multitude of symptoms and concluded, ‘I believe I’m pregnant.’
A test confirmed Perrie’s intuition, causing the couple to be extremely happy at first. However, the “Shoutout to My Ex” singer began to sense something was amiss when she and her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall embarked on their tour in April 2022.
Each evening prior to a performance, she remembered experiencing recurring bleeding, and in her mind, she reflected upon that moment believing, ‘This is it, I’ve unfortunately miscarried.’
But it turned out that Perrie’s regular doctor visits confirmed the baby was healthy, until she underwent an ultrasound examination past the 20-week mark.
She expressed that it was undoubtedly the most challenging day of her life, akin to something truly dreadful. She had a sense of unease about the results from the scan.
As a devoted follower, I’d put it this way: After my doctor informed me and my partner Alex about the loss of our pregnancy, I couldn’t contain my tears enough to drive home from that appointment. It seemed surreal, almost as if I was observing myself going through it all – an experience I can barely describe.
She confessed that she had been deeply affected, “I was badly shaken,” she put it. “Considering I was already seven months pregnant and we’d set up their nursery, prepared everything, it’s incredibly difficult.
In my heart, I can’t help but share the profound emotions Perrie expressed about her experience as a mother to her rainbow baby, Axel. You see, before his arrival, she had endured a miscarriage – making him a precious ‘rainbow’ baby in our eyes. Yet strangely enough, when it happened, it didn’t shatter me as much as I thought it would. The reason, in her own words, was simple: “Because it occurred so early on, I found myself saying, ‘Oh, that’s sad,’ and moving on.” As an avid fan, I couldn’t help but feel a deep connection to her raw emotions and resilience through this trying time.
Ever since fans started assuming she was pregnant in 2022, even before her tragic loss, she strongly denied and dismissed any assumptions about famous women being pregnant.
Perrie noted, “Pregnancy can be incredibly sensitive and personal for women. What happens within those private walls can often be a mystery, especially since pregnancy is filled with fear, concern, numerous tests, potential complications, and overall stress.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share that Jacob Mayo, a beloved star from Duck Dynasty and my husband, is candidly discussing the significance of revealing our fertility journey on their fresh new reality show. It’s an intimate aspect of our lives we feel compelled to share with you all.
Bella shared during their May 2025 interview with Jacob in Us Weekly, “Our series delves into the subject of infertility, which is not something we’ve openly discussed much before. It’s a part of our lives that many people might not be aware of.” She also added, “People often assume they know what someone else is experiencing based on their social media presence, but in reality, no one truly knows another person’s struggles.
The experience felt genuine for them, enabling the duo to truly express themselves authentically within the new program.
Before Christian McCaffrey and the ex-Miss Universe announced they were having their first child, she explained that her endometriosis diagnosis might cause potential fertility problems in the future.
As a lifestyle advocate, I’ve found myself at a crossroads, yearning for the joy of parenthood but aware of the challenges that lie ahead. Back in 2020, I was diagnosed with a health condition that required surgery to manage. Recently, on my show The Culpo Sisters, I opened up about how this diagnosis might complicate my dreams of having children. It’s a journey filled with uncertainties, but I remain hopeful and resilient.
She went on to explain that Endometriosis may impact your ability to conceive in various manners. For instance, there might be endometrial tissue growth around or on your ovaries, which could influence the health of your eggs and potentially scar your fallopian tubes.
As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but share my heartfelt support for Caelynn, our beloved Bachelor Nation star, who recently penned a poignant, personal note about her and husband Dean Bell’s journey with infertility since their beautiful 2023 wedding.
In a March 2025 YouTube video, I shared that the journey isn’t as challenging for me anymore compared to the initial months. I’ve significantly eased up on the self-imposed pressure. (As a dedicated follower, speaking from personal experience.)
Despite finding the process emotionally tough, Caelynn continues to stay optimistic as she and her spouse undergo medical tests to “sort out the mystery.
The hostess of “Dancing With the Stars” has been candid about her battles with endometriosis, a health issue related to women’s reproductive system, and is making efforts to safeguard her ability to conceive when she decides it’s the right time.
In June 2025, she shared that she froze her eggs for the third time.
Ever since Sonny joined her family along with husband Tim Rosenman in 2017, the Hills alumna has openly shared the highs and lows of their fertility struggles. This includes discussing two of her own pregnancies that didn’t succeed and two miscarriages experienced by her surrogate.
In July 2024, Whitney confirmed she’s preparing for a second egg retrieval.
She expressed that she feels significantly improved compared to her previous session, as she now has a better understanding of what to anticipate. Moreover, she revealed an abundance of confidence and trust in her physician.
Regardless of any developments as they navigate the process of having a second child, Whitney has consistently made it clear that her family of three is complete without any lack or need for more members.
In my own words, reflecting on your 7th birthday in July 2024, I’d like to express that as we venture into this new chapter of our family expansion, you’ve already made our family complete – a fact that remains unchanged no matter what. You are nothing short of a blessing, and watching you grow has been an absolute joy. We couldn’t be more grateful for your easy-going nature.
The actress from “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” who married Jean Todt in 2023 following an 19-year engagement, has previously discussed the struggles she faced when attempting to have children with her first spouse, Dickson Poon.
In an interview for a podcast in November 2024, Michelle candidly expressed, “For a long time, I’ve dreamed of having kids. To make this dream come true, I sought help with fertility treatments. The hardest part was enduring the monthly struggles-it feels like you’re falling short every time.
She added, “Eventually, you cease to hold self-blame. Sometimes, parts of our bodies simply operate differently. That’s the reality. It’s about learning to release and progress instead.
Previously, the rapper – mother of son Wilde with husband Maximillion Cooper – openly discussed a devastating miscarriage during her time on the set of the television show ‘Eve’, which was caused by an ectopic pregnancy.
In her memoir titled “Who’s That Girl?“, Eve wrote about discovering her pregnancy in the year 2006. Due to an emergency surgical procedure, she had to take a two-week break from filming. She confessed that she deceived everyone on set, claiming her appendix had burst. In reality, she might have been deceiving herself as well.
If the thought of losing my baby crossed my path, I wasn’t sure if two weeks would suffice for emotional recovery. Eventually, that time proved barely sufficient for me to recover physically, as I had to return to work almost immediately. The weight loss following the surgery left me extremely weak physically.
In a straightforward and conversational manner: The actress from “Selling Sunset” who became a mother to her son Austin at just 15 years old, together with her spouse Romain Bonnet, have openly shared their experiences and challenges related to their journey of starting a family.
She informed TopMob News in September 2024 that the result is uncertain as they are simply dealing with things as they arise. She’s been preoccupied lately with her book and the ongoing season, so she believes that nothing positive will happen if she’s stressed or rushed.
As a lifestyle expert, I might rephrase it like this: Mary, who recently had surgery to correct a septate uterus (a condition where the uterus is divided by a membrane), shares that she and Romain are in no hurry to make decisions about expanding their family. Instead, they’re content and joyfully focused on their beloved pet dog at the moment.
The real estate agent mentioned that they have a pet cat named Thor whom Romaine adores deeply. If the deal doesn’t work out, Romaine says he can manage, as he has his beloved feline companion. They are confident and reassured that everything will turn out as it should.
The sports broadcaster for the NFL, along with her husband, named Jarret Stoll, faced various highs and lows during their parenthood journey, which led to the birth of their son Mack in July 2023. They also experienced challenges, such as Erin’s cervical cancer diagnosis back in 2017.
She froze her eggs prior to her cancer fight, afterward using IVF to aid in conceiving a child – an event she ultimately chose to reveal publicly.
In her 2021 essay, she expressed that she had grown weary of holding back and felt compelled to share her hardships. She described the journey as a difficult and painful experience, one that left her feeling numb and like a machine on an unjust roller coaster that often delivered bad news.
She noted that she is an expressive individual, capable of speaking sincerely about difficult topics such as infertility struggles. She sympathizes with many couples and families who are trying to conceive.
