As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the upcoming title from NCSOFT and Mistil Games – Time Takers. This free-to-play, team-based third-person shooter is set to drop on PC via Steam, but the release date remains under wraps for now. However, get ready for a Steam playtest soon!
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
In this game, called “Time Takers”, you’ll find yourself in third-person perspective, collaborating with a team in a shooter setting. The key resource here is time, and each second you gain, spend, or lose during the fight is crucial to your survival.
Team up with an assortment of distinctive personalities hailing from various periods, engaging in combat to gather Time Essence – a vital asset employed for enhancing abilities, resuscitating allies, or fortifying positions amidst a constantly changing battleground.
In every decision I take during the game, whether to boost my strength right away or hold off until a better opportunity arises, impacts how the game unfolds.
In contrast to conventional hero-based shooter games, Time Takers offers a fresh twist by allowing players to transcend predefined roles. Each character in this game has a distinctive skill, however, the selection of weapons and apps significantly alters your gaming style, even when using the same character.
And you’re not in this alone.
A well-balanced team with good cooperation significantly impacts the outcome. Choosing the correct combination of skills, strategies, and timing can often determine the victor in any contest.
