Kicking off at Gamescom 2025, there are numerous video game announcements and reveals to look forward to, beginning with our live coverage of Opening Night Live. During this show, we were treated to another glimpse of the forthcoming DLC expansion for one of the most exciting Indiana Jones adventures in recent years, along with some exciting updates.
In simpler terms, the first-person action-adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which I completely finished because I enjoyed it so much, is set to expand with The Order of Giants DLC. This means there will be new mysteries to unravel, additional puzzles to solve, and brand-new enemies to encounter. These additions are due in a matter of weeks. Since we’ve already been informed about this expansion, you can relax and just enjoy the sneak peek of gameplay that was shown during the event.
Watch the trailer, though, and you may notice something interesting at the end…
Absolutely! Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will soon be available on another device, specifically the anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. Originally launched on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, this game has also made its way to PlayStation 5 courtesy of Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames earlier in the year. Now, Indiana Jones is making a transition to portable gaming.
It seems logical that the “The Order of Giants” DLC is also destined for the Nintendo Switch. Regardless, I’m eager to find out how this intricately detailed, photorealistic game performs on Nintendo’s latest handheld device.
Bethesda hasn’t specified an exact launch date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s Switch 2, but it’s set to arrive sometime in the year 2026. In the meantime, we can look forward to the upcoming DLC expansion which should keep our anticipation satisfied until then.
On September 4, 2025, The Order of Giants makes its grand debut on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation platforms. Notably, the fundamental version of the game will continue to be accessible via Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming, and subscribers can look forward to a generous discount on the expansion pack.
At this year’s Gamescom 2025, here are some updates: The Fallout TV series Season 2 unveiled an impressive trailer, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been officially introduced. Keep checking Windows Central for more coverage as the event unfolds and throughout the week!
