As a die-hard Resident Evil fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement during Gamescom Opening Night Live, where we got a lengthy sneak peek at the chilling new installment, Resident Evil Requiem. The latest footage didn’t disappoint and offered an intriguing glimpse into Grace Ashcroft’s haunting past.
30 years post the Raccoon City incident, Resident Evil: Vengeance finds Grace engaged in another investigation. As an FBI analyst, she’s compelled to revisit the haunting location, confronting painful recollections from her past. This marks a fresh chapter in the survival horror genre.
The iconic Resident Evil series is set to mark its 30-year journey in March 2026, and in honor of this significant milestone, Capcom has unveiled a special 30th anniversary logo along with an exclusive illustration depicting Grace and other iconic characters from the franchise’s rich history.
The game titled “Resident Evil Requiem” will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC through Steam on February 27th, 2026.
