The new trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, recently released by Sucker Punch, showcases Atsu’s quest for vengeance in the game, as well as revealing that Ghost of Yōtei Legends is set to launch in 2026. For those who were wondering about the cooperative mode of Ghost of Tsushima with a similar name, it appears that it will retain some core elements.
In a recent blog post on PlayStation, Sucker Punch announced some exciting multiplayer features for their upcoming game. Players will be able to embark on story missions in pairs, and survival matches can accommodate up to four players. Each player gets to pick from one of four classes. What sets this apart is the introduction of new enemies, as depicted in the accompanying concept art. Additionally, combat will feature colossal, demonic versions of characters from the Yōtei Six.
Details about Ghost of Yōtei Legends will become clearer when it releases in 2026, similar to Ghost of Tsushima Legends. If you already own the main game, you can enjoy this expansion for free. It’s uncertain at this point whether it will be launched as a separate, less expensive title later on.
During this period, the game titled “Ghost of Yōtei” will be released on October 2nd for PlayStation 5. You can view the most recent weapon trailer trailers at these links: [Link 1] and [Link 2]. Enjoy!
