About
A fresh tactical role-playing game hails from the creators of the Bravely and Octopath Traveler franchises. Embark on the gripping saga set in war-ravaged Norzelia, viewed through multiple viewpoints, all rendered in beautiful HD-2D graphics. Prepare for a deep, turn-based combat system to challenge your strategic prowess.
The World
In the world of Norzelia, the Holy State of Hyzante governs the realm’s salt production; the frozen Grand Duchy of Aesfrost, its iron mines; and sandwiched between them is the Kingdom of Glenbrook, a land abounding in green forests and rivers. These nations fought what later became known as the Saltiron War. Following the war’s end, these three nations managed to maintain a fragile peace. However, an impending occurrence looms ominously, with the potential to shatter this delicate balance…
Multiple Stories, Multiple Endings
- A tale that will challenge your convictions – You will face many difficult choices as the three nations conspire against each other. Making value judgments and decisions based on the ideals of Utility, Morality, and Liberty will determine your Conviction. These parameters will affect how the story branches, and which companions join your party.
- Voting affects your fate – Important decisions affecting the fate of the protagonists are made through a voting process employing the Scales of Conviction. You must persuade allies, each with their own values and opinions, to cast their coin upon the scales to see your desired goals achieved.
Where will your convictions lead you?
Tactical Battles
Utilize the landscape and varying heights to strategize your assaults, synchronize your unit’s movements, encircle enemies from both directions for subsequent attacks, and so forth. Assemble a team of 30 unique characters, each with distinct abilities, to tackle intricate battles and ultimately come out on top.
The Latest HD-2D Graphics
In these games such as “Octopath Traveler”, “Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake”, and “LIVE A LIVE”, the narrative unfolds in a stunning 2D format enhanced with high-definition details. To make it even more captivating, 3D graphics enhancements have been incorporated into the vintage visuals, resulting in a richly detailed and immersive environment brimming with personality.
To Fans of Tactical RPGs
Square Enix introduces a fresh, strategic role-playing game for enthusiasts of titles such as Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. In simpler terms, they are launching a new tactical RPG reminiscent of those popular games.
