The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Confirms Blu-Ray Volume 4 Release Date
On October 15th, 2025, the fourth Blu-ray installment of the anime series will be unveiled. The cover art showcases Jinshi, resplendent and valiant, brandishing his sword in a confrontation against the Shi Clan. Unlike his role as a palace eunuch, he is portrayed here as the Moon Prince. Accompanying him on the cover are Maomao and Loulan, the primary characters from the second season of the anime, standing before a snow-capped mountain, which serves as the base for the Shi Clan’s stronghold.
For Japanese fans, the release date has been set, but there’s no word yet on when the international version, including the dubbed one, will be available. The Japanese price is around 100 USD (14,850 yen with taxes), and it includes Japanese subtitles, bonus footage, and the final six episodes of Season 2. As an extra treat, there’s a three-sided back cover featuring original art by Yukiko Nakatani, the anime’s character designer. Inside, you’ll find a special booklet and a mini art collection, each with 40 pages.
To wrap things up, there’s a unique Garden Party set for August 15th, 2026, located at Pacifico Yokohama National Hall. This is where the talented voices behind Maomao (Aoi Yuki) and Jinshi (Takeo Otsuka) will make a guest appearance. There are two shows scheduled on this day, one in the afternoon and another in the evening. More voice actors might be joining the event, although their names have yet to be disclosed.
