■ Characters

Anelace Elfead (voiced Cassandra Lee Morris in English, Sora Tokui in Japanese)

  • Age: 18
  • Weapon: One-handed sword

She’s a recently promoted senior officer and Estelle’s superior. She secretly loves all things adorable.

Anelace is a highly motivated and hardworking person, but she’s also refreshingly down-to-earth and doesn’t get bogged down in minor details.

Anelace is the granddaughter of Yun Ka-fai, who created the Eastern martial art known as Eight Leaves One Blade. While she knows she still has a lot to learn, Anelace hopes to one day become a skilled swordswoman and honor her grandfather’s memory.

Kevin Graham (voiced Ray Chase in English, Kazuyuki Okitsu in Japanese)

  • Age: 21
  • Weapon: Bow gun

A wandering priest of the Septian Church, recognizable for his distinctive accent and demeanor.

Kevin doesn’t fit the typical image of a priest – he’s warm and approachable. However, behind his cheerful nature is a deeply caring and reflective person.

While he spends most of his time visiting small villages to preach and teach children, there’s a feeling his real reason for being in Liberl is something else entirely…

Major Mueller Vander (voiced by Patrick Seitz in English, Ryuichi Kijima in Japanese)

  • Age: 28
  • Weapon: Greatsword

This soldier serves the empire and is currently assigned to the Erebonian Embassy in the Liberl Kingdom as a military representative.

Mueller and Olivier have known each other since childhood, both growing up in the Empire. While Olivier’s unusual behavior often frustrates Mueller, they clearly share a strong and trusting connection.

Mueller is a highly trained swordsman from the Empire, specializing in the famous Vander style. He’s incredibly strong and can easily handle his large greatsword with just one hand – some say his power is almost at a master level.

Captain Julia Schwarz (voiced by Gabriella Certo in English, Eriko Matsui in Japanese)

  • Age: 27
  • Weapon: Rapier

The commander of Queen Alicia’s Royal Guard and captain of the Arseille, a cutting-edge airship.

After being promoted to Captain for her bravery during the recent coup attempt, Julia now spends her time test-flying the new engine for the Arseille.

People – both everyday citizens and those serving with her – admire her because she is genuinely kind and carries herself with grace and respect.

Leonhardt (voiced Stephen Fu in English, Satoshi Hino in Japanese)

  • Age: 26

He is Enforcer No. II for the Society of Ouroboros, and is known as “Bladelord” due to his exceptional swordsmanship.

Despite appearing calm and collected, Leonhardt secretly struggles with a powerful and violent anger that could lead him to commit terrible acts.

While carrying out the Society’s orders throughout the kingdom, he’s frequently encountered Estelle and her companions, posing as “Lieutenant Lorence” each time.

Weissmann, the Faceless (voiced Liam O’Brien in English, Nobuo Tobita in Japanese)

  • Age: 37

The leader linking the seven Enforcers of Ouroboros, known by the alias “The Faceless”.

Weissmann is a manipulative and deceitful person who possesses a supernatural power called “Absolute Suggestion.” This ability allows him to change what people remember and how they see things, and he used it to secretly control the events of the first chapter.

I can’t believe he’s working with the Society! Apparently, he’s following the Grandmaster’s orders and leading the Enforcers in some terrible scheme to destroy Liberl. It’s just awful to think about what he’s doing.

Renne (voiced by Courtney Lin in English, Aoi Yuuki in Japanese)

  • Age: 11

A young girl from Crossbell State who has come to Liberl on vacation with her merchant parents.

Renne is a bright but unpredictable child with a playful, mischievous side. Her innocent and trusting nature often unintentionally gets the adults around her into trouble.

Renne was having a good time exploring the kingdom, but a surprising meeting changed her plans, and she started traveling with Estelle.
