Actor Dominic West, best known for his work on The Crown, has secured his next significant part in a new legal thriller produced by Sky and HBO titled “War.” This intriguing series has already received approval for two seasons in advance.
In the upcoming drama, West is set to portray tech magnate Morgan Henderson. The storyline revolves around the intense rivalry between two prominent London law firms, Catcharts and Taylor & Byrne, as they engage in a high-stakes legal battle involving a scandalous divorce case.
As the proceedings unfold, it becomes clear that allegiances start to splinter, personal standing is at stake, and every participant is fighting to emerge victorious.
Next to West, Sienna Miller (known for her roles in Anatomy of a Scandal and American Sniper), portrays the role of Morgan’s separated spouse, renowned film actress Carla Duval.

Nina Sosanya (known for Screw and Baby Reindeer) will bring her charm to the role of “Her Majesty” Beatrice Ubosi, who I believe goes by ‘Queen Bea’. Pip Torrens (Succession and The Crown) will take on the role of St John Smallwood, our rivals at Cathcarts. Lastly, Archie Renaux (Alien: Romulus and Upgraded) will step into the shoes of lawyer Jonathan ‘Johnny’ Warren, a character I’m eager to watch unfold.
The upcoming production of “War” originates from the mind of George Kay, a renowned creator, known for his work on Netflix’s Lupin and ITV’s The Long Shadow. This project is being jointly produced by New Pictures, recognized for series like Catherine the Great and The Long Shadow, and George Kay’s Observatory Picture. Ben Taylor, known for Sex Education and Catastrophe, will be in charge of directing duties.
