Dylan Walsh and his family are recovering after a scary road incident.
On August 17, an actor from the show Nip/Tuck was involved in a car accident involving his family in New Jersey, as reported by several sources. Now, his representative has provided an update following the incident.
Fortunately, everyone is now safe and back home. The family expresses profound gratitude towards the quick actions of the Rumson Police, Fire Department, EMS, and the medical staff at Riverview Medical Center for their assistance.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d be honored to express my sincere gratitude to the management and team at The River Point Inn. Their unwavering support during those crucial moments was truly invaluable and deeply appreciated.
Lieutenant Christopher Isherwood of the Rumson Police Department informed Patch.com that the vehicle involved in the incident, a 2022 Ford Explorer, was initially heading north on East River Road. However, it subsequently moved into the southbound lane.
According to Lt. Isherwood, the vehicle crashed into a utility pole before moving further north. In doing so, it also damaged another utility pole.
Lt. Isherwood reported that the vehicle struck a power pole and then proceeded north, causing further damage to another power pole.
In simpler terms, Dylan’s wife Leslie Bourque-Walsh, the mother of their children Amelie Belle and Hudson Scott, spoke about the incident in a post on her Facebook page. She mentioned that the event occurred during a journey to a family breakfast.
She shared, “Last night, our family experienced a severe car crash. Thankfully, we are all fine, and I won’t share any more details at this time. However, I strongly encourage everyone to always use seatbelts and ensure their vehicles have airbags. We are incredibly grateful for the swift action of first responders and everyone who assisted us.
In another post, Leslie said goodbye to the car that held the family’s memories.
On August 20th, she wrote that they had removed everything from their Timberline. The EZ pass, the Thule on top, and they bid farewell. Amelie was there, feeling sad as they were parting ways. This car took our family on an incredible road trip from Vancouver, BC to Rumson, NJ.
“All in all it is just a car,” she added. “but so many memories attached to it.”

In February 2017, the young daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, named Maddie Aldridge, was operating an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). Unfortunately, she overturned the vehicle and fell into a pond near their residence in Louisiana. This left her underwater for several minutes.
On the Maria Menounos Better Together podcast in 2020, Jamie Lynn stated that after we managed to pull her out of the water, I realized she was in trouble and then first responders took her away from me. We feared at that moment that we had tragically lost our daughter.
As a devoted family member, I am thrilled to share that, despite our initial uncertainties about the extent of the harm, two days later, I found myself awake and conversing. Fast forward a few weeks, I was back to my usual daily rhythm.
Jamie Lynn expressed gratitude, stating that God granted her a precious gift – the return of her daughter whom she had previously lost.
2025’s action comedy “Bride Hard,” starring Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp, experienced an unexpected turn during the final day of filming when Rebel, playing a secret agent, had an unfortunate accident on set. As she explained to Access Hollywood in a June 2025 interview, a gun was accidentally struck against her face during a fight scene, causing her nose to bleed. On what was supposed to be her last night of shooting, she found herself leaving the set, lamenting, “What bad luck!
Amidst a puddle of her own blood, she acknowledged her distress regarding the 2023 event, saying, “I was incredibly alarmed.” She explained that an ambulance had to be called and a plastic surgeon summoned, as failing to do so would have resulted in permanent disfigurement. Fortunately, they managed to find a plastic surgeon who performed the necessary stitches, leaving no trace of injury now.
Jimmy Fallon, the host of The Tonight Show, nearly suffered an injury when he fell at home. In a bid to break his fall, he grabbed onto the counter, but in doing so, his ring became lodged, causing him to involuntarily pull his finger free.
He referred to it as a “dislocation of the ring finger,” and he spent ten days in the hospital while doctors worked tirelessly to avoid the need for amputation.
A seasoned athlete, who participates in long-distance races for running, swimming, and triathlons, named Zane Wach, nearly succumbed to altitude sickness during a hike with his father Ryan Wach on California’s Mount Whitney in June 2025.
Ryan clarified to SFGATE that the 14-year-old began having visual perceptions not based on reality, such as seeing figures like snowmen and Kermit the Frog. He was conscious of these experiences being hallucinations.
Ryan frequently prevented his teenager from taking dangerous steps near the cliff edge while they were descending the trail. “He seemed disoriented, and I’m unsure of the reason. Even now, we haven’t determined it,” the father commented. “My hypothesis is a mix of fatigue, lack of sleep, possibly dehydration, and lingering effects from altitude sickness. Essentially, he began to question reality.
In my capacity as a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase the statement as follows: Upon attempting to catch him for the third time, I found myself unable to reach Zane as he plummeted about 120 feet from a cliff edge. Six hours later, an Inyo County Search & Rescue helicopter arrived and flew my son to Southern Inyo Hospital in Lone Pine. Thankfully, he was stabilized and then transferred to a pediatric trauma center in Las Vegas. He was eventually taken out of a medically induced coma and began breathing independently.
Ryan mentioned that their situation might turn out to be a tale about overcoming adversity, given the teen’s injuries including head trauma, a broken finger, ankle, and fractured pelvis. However, he emphasized that they are currently right in the midst of dealing with these challenges,” is one way to paraphrase the original statement while maintaining its essence and readability.
On January 1st, 2023, actor Jeremy Renner (best known for his role in Avengers) found himself assisting as he tried to pull a truck out of snow using a snowplow at his Lake Tahoe residence. However, following his exit from the machine, an unfortunate incident occurred when he was accidentally pulled under while attempting to prevent the plow from colliding with his nephew. This accident left him with a total of 38 broken bones.
In his 2025 memoir titled “My Next Breath,” he wrote: “On New Year’s Day, as I lay on the ice, my heart rate decreased significantly. Unbeknownst to my daughter, sisters, friends, father, and mother, I simply grew weary. Thirty minutes later, having laboriously breathed manually for such a prolonged period – comparable to doing multiple sets of push-ups every minute for half an hour… it was then that I passed away.
Struggling against fractured bones, severe blood loss, and the danger of hypothermia, he penned, “I believe I am no longer alive-indeed, it’s certain.” Upon the arrival of the paramedics, they observed that his heart rate had dropped critically low to 18 beats per minute, at which point one can essentially be considered deceased.
In May 2025, TikToker Emilie Kiser and her husband Brady Kiser experienced an unbearable ordeal when their three-year-old son Trigg Kiser accidentally fell into the pool at their residence in Arizona.
The Chandler Police Department reported to USA Today that they responded to an emergency call at a home on May 12, regarding a child who had been found unconscious in a backyard pool. Upon arrival, officers and firefighters performed CPR at the scene, and then transported the child to Chandler Regional Hospital. However, tragically, the toddler passed away six days later.
Later on, Emilie decided to take legal action against the public authorities of Maricopa County, asking the court to prevent disclosure of information related to her husband’s death. As stated in the lawsuit, Emilie is making every effort to support her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. However, each day is a struggle for her.
In the throes of an unforgettable ordeal, I found myself transformed from an enthusiastic globetrotter to a survivor, as my dreamy family vacation to Thailand in December 2023 spiraled into a harrowing ten days that I’ll never forget. A freak accident involving power lines left me reeling and racing to the ER with a jolt I could never have imagined.
As the subsequent days unfolded, I found myself battling a double-edged foe: first, the relentless tug-of-war for my physical strength, and second, the life-threatening struggle against the unforgiving tide of fate. In a poignant New Year’s Day Instagram post, I recounted this harrowing journey in detail, speaking candidly about my fight to claw my way back from the brink and thanking my lucky stars for my miraculous survival. “I am so grateful to be here today,” I concluded with heartfelt humility, forever changed by this unexpected twist of fate.
In essence, the orthodontist discovered an additional cause for joy amidst the discomfort. Sharing her insights, Cara expressed a sentiment that resonates with many when they become too engrossed in trivial matters: “The ability to inhale, savor food, speak, and move freely is not just ordinary; it’s extraordinary and calls for celebration,” she mused.
A unfortunate incident took place when Juliana Marins, a tourist from Brazil, was trekking on Mount Rinjani, an active volcano situated in Indonesia, during June 2025. After she slipped and fell off a steep edge (not directly into the volcano’s crater), a group of 48 search and rescue personnel faced difficulties due to challenging weather conditions, rugged terrain, and poor visibility in the area. These obstacles prolonged their efforts for four days before they were able to discover Juliana’s body, as reported by the Brazilian government in an official statement.
Today’s update from Juliana Marins’ family’s Instagram reveals that the rescue team successfully made it to her location. However, our hearts are heavy as they confirm that Juliana did not survive. We are deeply moved by the countless prayers, expressions of love, and support that have been sent our way during this difficult time.
Back in 2015, TV personality Tori Spelling, who was once a star on “Beverly Hills, 90210”, had an unfortunate incident at Benihana, a Japanese restaurant. While attending an Easter brunch there, she accidentally tripped and suffered burns on her right arm from one of the Hibachi grills. To heal her injury, skin grafts were required, and eventually, she chose to file a lawsuit against the restaurant.
She mentioned later on their podcast 9021OMG in 2024 that they had to perform a skin graft on her, using skin from her leg. This means she now has a portion of her thigh tissue on her arm because the skin on her burnt arm was severely damaged. In essence, she’s not joking when she says she’s wearing part of her thigh on her arm.
At France’s Rock&Cars festival in June 2024, comedian Tony Knight met an unfortunate end when two large tree branches fell on him. As Joanne Allen, the sister of his longtime partner Hayley Wright, expressed in a GoFundMe post, “Tony was only 54 and living life to the fullest.” He was in excellent health, brimming with joy, and enjoying great success. His charm, wit, and enthusiasm were truly remarkable.
Indeed, he was deeply cherished by his lifelong partner. In her own Instagram post, Haley penned that he was a multi-talented man of extraordinary abilities. Truly, there seemed to be no task too great for him. He was a dear friend to numerous individuals, an exceptional dog father… yet above all else, he was my universe, and it will forever feel incomplete without him.
On January 2024, the joyous anniversary celebrations for Vistex, a Chicago-software company, took an unfortunate turn. The CEO, Sanjay Shah, and President, Vishwanath Raju Datla, were scheduled to descend in a cage for their 25th anniversary festivities at an event in India. However, during the descent, two wires broke, leading to the men falling onto the concrete stage instead. This information was reported by The Times of India.
According to the newspaper, Sanjay, age 56, died from his accident-related wounds at the hospital, whereas Vishwanath, also 52, suffered a major head injury in the same incident and regrettably passed away months afterwards.
Both of these paraphrased sentences maintain the original information but present it in a more accessible and conversational style.
In a shared 2022 Instagram video with UNICEF, Orlando Bloom recounted an incident from his youth. At the age of 19, while attempting to reach a rooftop terrace with friends, he fell three stories from a window due to a collapsed drainpipe. Despite fracturing several vertebrae in his back, he was fortunate enough to survive because his spinal cord remained unharmed.
Initially, I was informed during my hospital stay that there was a possibility I might never walk again. This was the start of a lengthy and difficult process for me as I began to identify and grasp the recurring patterns in my life that had contributed to multiple accidents, ultimately leading to a broken back, which was a close call with death.
Upon leaving the hospital confined in a back brace, enduring intense physical and emotional discomfort, he admitted to GQ in 2005 that he immediately began socializing, even with his brace on. It took him around two months to comprehend that this was his life as he knew it, and he didn’t want to jeopardize it.
He mentioned that the experience has shaped every aspect of his life, saying “It isn’t until you come close to losing something that you truly understand its value.” Previously, he would ride motorbikes and drive cars as if they were on racetracks, which was quite reckless. It wasn’t about being trendy; it was because he enjoyed living dangerously. However, now he has become more cautious.
