Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuoloare feeling extra thankful.
In simpler terms, as previously noted by the stars of “Counting On,” Jeremy narrowly avoided a stint in prison, and he hopes that sharing his experience will encourage others to be more careful.
On the Jinger & Jeremy Vuolo Podcast, dated August 20th, a friend from another state shared with us that they had a vehicle for sale right here on our property.
According to Jeremy, someone came to buy the car “who was wild.”
Apparently, the man who was selling the car commented that the buyer seemed quite eccentric. However, since the buyer had come to purchase the vehicle, the transaction was facilitated.
Jeremy, who has three children – Felicity (age 6), Evangeline (age 4), and Finnegan (only 4 months old) with Jinger – found himself in possession of $6,000 in cash. He planned to send this money to his friend living out of state by wiring it through the bank. However, events took an unexpected turn rather swiftly.
While putting money into the machine, it suddenly stopped midway during processing. He explained this and looked over at the woman, who simply said ‘Oh.’ She then took out a bill and inserted it instead. The machine displayed ‘Suspect document’.
The cashier swiftly informed her colleagues that the money was indeed fake – a surprising discovery for the ex-soccer player.
He was standing at the counter, holding $6,000, when the bank teller began revealing what appeared to be fake bills. The man thought to himself, ‘This is over.’ He expected the police to arrive, an investigation to ensue, and perhaps even have his fingerprints taken.
Gratefully, Jeremy mentioned that “the situation wasn’t as dire as expected since the money clearly appeared counterfeit.” He added that when he touched the fake money, it felt just like normal paper.
Despite his jest about feeling like a spectacle, the reality TV personality found himself fortunate as the fake money turned out to be props from a film production, not genuine counterfeit currency.
He clarified that this item functions much like a toy and is actually classified as one. For around fifty dollars, you can purchase up to $20,000 worth of ‘movie money’ on Amazon, but it’s important to note that it’s not genuine.
In that case, as Jeremy pointed out, “The scenario would have played out quite differently.
Jinger found the situation incredibly tense due to the revelation that Jeremy had been imprisoned overnight in 2008 following his arrest for alleged harassment of a police officer.
If it seems like you’ve knowingly used this fake currency, it could result in federal charges carrying a maximum sentence of 20 years imprisonment and a substantial fine.
Fortunately, everything worked out well for Jeremy, although he advised his followers to verify any money they received as payment, just to be safe.
For a deeper dive into the Duggar family, keep reading.
The original high school sweethearts, who are now the parents of 19 children and grandparents to more than three dozen, began their relationship many years ago.
Michelle shared an experience where she felt “rescued” at 15 years old. One evening, Jim Bob was conducting house visits for his Baptist church and, based on a tip from a friend who mentioned “a school girl who recently got saved and is a cheerleader” living at the Ruark residence, he stopped by their door.
Back in the day, they welcomed Michelle to their church’s Sunday school, and old man Jim Bob asked God to make us each other’s spiritual guides – though it seems our initial encounter didn’t leave much of an impression on her. Fast forward a year, and guess who applied for a gig at the yogurt shop owned by Jim Bob’s folks? Yup, you guessed it, me! In a letter penned in 2017 for his birthday and our 33rd anniversary, Michelle wrote about that encounter, recalling she approached the counter where I was manning the cash register. “You were a bit shy but oh-so-sweet!” she said. “Besides remembering your shyness and charm, the only thing I can truly recall is you gathering up the guts to ask me if I’d accompany you to your junior-senior banquet!
They went to a dinner together at Shiloh Christian School, but it wasn’t until they spent hours discussing the Bible at her family home afterward that she felt certain about their bond. As Michelle put it, “Our hearts became one from there.” They completed high school in May of 1984 and got married in July. At the time, Michelle was 17 years old, while Jim Bob was 19.
The couple dedicated themselves to God and each other for the long run.
Jim Bob previously held the position of a state legislator, representing the sixth district in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. During this time, he served as vice chairman of the House Corrections and Criminal Law Subcommittee. In 2002, he ran for the U.S. Senate but lost in the primary. His attempt in 2006 to become the Republican nominee for Arkansas State Senate District 35 was unsuccessful as well.
They, along with Michelle, who are duly certified real estate agents, have been actively involved in conservative movements – a part of their lifestyle that has earned them both admirers (supporters) and opponents (critics). This pair is known to be avid fans and vocal critics of the show “19 Kids and Counting,” which debuted in 2008 as “17 Kids and Counting.
As of October 2024, they were grandparents of 33 with three on the way.
The oldest son in the Duggar family, Josh Duggar, came into the world on March 3, 1988. Just like his family, he also got involved in activism with a conservative stance, particularly supporting the Family Research Council.
In 2015, police records from the past emerged, indicating that Josh Duggar, who had previously held the position, was accused of inappropriately touching several girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar, during his teenage years. This revelation led to him stepping down from his role. Later, in June of the same year, Jessa appeared on Fox News to defend her brother, asserting that the harsh accusations against Josh were excessive and untrue. She claimed that she was one of the victims and spoke out because she believed the worst names being hurled at Josh were “unjustifiably extreme and false.
I, as a committed partner, stood by my wife, Anna Duggar, who I exchanged vows with during our wedding held on September 26, 2008, an event that was showcased on “19 Kids and Counting.” Even after I confessed to infidelity, she chose to stay with me.
In 2016, when he admitted himself into a rehabilitation facility, his parents considered it the “initial vital move towards restoration and mending.
The family of three – Mackynzie (born October 8, 2009), Michael (June 15, 2011) and Marcus (June 2, 2013) – experienced a scandal. On the same day TLC canceled ’19 Kids’, Anna gave birth to their fourth child, Meredith, on July 16, 2015. The family welcomed their fifth child, Mason Garett, on September 12, 2017, followed by Maryella Hope on November 27, 2019 and Madyson Lily on October 23, 2021, making it a total of seven children.
Back in April 2021, a federal court indictment accused Joshua of two separate offenses related to child pornography – receiving and possessing such content. However, he denied any wrongdoing for both charges. In the year 2022, Joshua was convicted on both accounts, though the possession charge was later dismissed by the judge. As a result, he received a sentence of 12 and a half years in prison.
Not long after Joshua’s birth, Michelle became pregnant once more, unfortunately experiencing a miscarriage. As they mourned this loss and sought divine counsel, they received news of an upcoming twin pregnancy, while they were still in the process of healing and seeking direction.
She expressed that it was twice as wonderful for her (since Love to Know), as it served as a boost from God, encouraging our hearts. Although we’re still learning, it’s quite uncommon – I breastfeed my children, but they are very close in age. In an unexpected twist, just eight months after having one baby, I am already expecting another. This is yet another way the Lord has tailored events to our unique circumstances.
John David Duggar and his twin sister Jana Duggar were born on Jan. 12, 1990.
After years of being acquainted, but only meeting at a church gathering in Oklahoma, where Abbie resides, John David and Abbie-Grace Burnett tied the knot on November 3, 2018, following a swift courtship and brief engagement period.
On January 7, 2020, they happily ushered a daughter named Grace Annette Duggar into the world, while their son, Charlie Duggar, joined them in September of 2022.
On Jan’s 30th birthday in January 2020, she penned a heartfelt note stating: “Ever since we were children, people have often wondered if John and I share some sort of ‘twin connection’. You know, the kind where you sense what the other person is feeling or thinking…For a long time, I’ve said no to this-but after Gracie was born, I experienced all the joy that you felt, so it seems this bond might be genuine!
Jana went on to say, “Watching you with Abbie as parents is just delightful. You both seem so natural at it! The traits that make you a fantastic brother will undoubtedly make you a remarkable father.
Jana observed as 11 out of her total 18 siblings tied the knot before she herself fell in love with Stephen Wissmann – whose sister Hannah is married to Jana’s own sibling Jeremiah. Even though she acknowledged some feelings of aggravation, she held firm that it was all part of God’s design for her life.
Jana explained to People prior to her August 15, 2024 wedding that she hasn’t always grasped the overall plan, but she trusts that God knows what is best for everyone. For her, this means delaying marriage until later. She believes that if each of our lives weren’t unique, life would be rather mundane.
Just over a year later, the couple shared that they’re expecting their first baby.
Jill Duggar, now known as Jill Dillard, was born on May 17, 1991. Much like her parents’ romantic journey, Jill crossed paths with Derick, who lived approximately 45 minutes away, for the first time on Christmas 2011. This chance encounter took place when Derick dropped by the Duggar family home while caroling with his church group.
Jim Bob acted as a cupid, and Jill and Derick found a connection, nurturing their bond through emails and Skype chats. Later, they visited Derick in Nepal during November, which further deepened their feelings for each other. By February 2014, Derick requested Jim Bob’s blessing to marry his daughter, and the wedding took place on June 21, 2014. The couple is proud parents to three sons-Israel (born on April 6, 2015), Samuel (born July 8, 2017), and Frederick (born July 7, 2022).
In the month of April 2024, Jill announced that she had experienced a miscarriage, which was their anticipated first daughter with Derick.
In June of 2023, when the Amazon Prime Video documentary titled Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets was released, Jill and Derick took time to consider the religious beliefs and debates related to her family that were discussed in the show.
Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifth child, Jessa Duggar, was born Nov. 4, 1992.
Jessa encountered Ben at church in 2013, and he started pursuing her in an old-fashioned way, which was quite surprising to many viewers who were accustomed to modern dating. Prior to getting engaged, they didn’t discuss their relationships openly. As explained by Jim Bob to People magazine, courting involves getting to know each other in a group setting, where both families spend time together and the couple set shared goals to determine if they are compatible for marriage. In contrast, dating usually involves couples spending time alone, which may lead to more physical intimacy.
In August 2014, Ben asked for Jessa’s hand in marriage, and they sealed their engagement by holding hands for the first time. They got married on November 1, 2014. When Jessa was pregnant with their first child, the TV show “19 Kids and Counting” was canceled due to a scandal about sexual abuse. A special episode discussing the subject, featuring Jill and Jessa, was aired by TLC to educate viewers further. That winter, Jessa and Jill became the main stars of their own show, “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” The show later expanded to include other Duggar siblings and became known as “Counting On.
Jessa and Ben had their first child Spurgeon on November 5, 2015, followed by Henry in February 2017. Then came Ivy Jane on May 28, 2019, and Fern in July 2021. In the holiday season of 2022, Jessa sadly experienced a miscarriage. However, she went on to give birth to son George in December 2023.
In August 2025, Jessa announced the birth of son Edward.
The sixth Duggar child, Jinger Vuolo, was born Dec. 21, 1993.
Jinger and Jeremy first crossed paths while engaged in religious duties in Laredo, Texas, in the year 2016. This was when their romantic relationship started to blossom. The couple tied the knot on November 5th, 2016, which happened to be the birthday of Jinger’s nephew, Spurgeon. As part of a family with nineteen members, it can sometimes be difficult not to have overlapping milestones, but they did just that. Soon after their wedding, whispers about a possible pregnancy started circulating.
In simpler terms, Jinger mentioned during a June 2017 episode of Counting On that they likely will have settled down in Laredo and continue their ministry, with the aim to serve God in whatever capacity possible.
The family’s youngest child, Felicity, was born on July 19, 2018. They announced in May of that same year that Jinger was expecting again, but had experienced a miscarriage the previous autumn. In November 2020, they were blessed with another daughter named Evangeline Jo.
Son Finnegan Charles was born March 29, 2025.
Born on January 20th, 1995, Joseph Duggar found himself proposing to Kendra, whom he had come to know through church, during the romantic backdrop of his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding in May 2017. They had only been dating for a few months prior.
As I prepared to propose, a wave of apprehension washed over me, but I was never worried about her turning down my offer because she had already expressed, “I’m merely waiting for you!” Joseph shared this sentiment with People magazine after the heartfelt moment. Kendra added, “I am overwhelmed with happiness and disbelief. There are so many things I want to say, but all I can feel is shocked.
They’ve made the announcement that they have welcomed three children into their family: son Garrett, born in June 2018, daughter Addison, born in November 2019, and daughter Brooklyn, born in February 2021.
Eighth in line, Josiah Duggar was born on Aug. 28, 1996.
A couple, who had made their romantic relationship public just a few months prior, revealed their engagement in March 2018. In a statement, he shared that the location where he proposed to his girlfriend, Lauren, was the very same spot where her parents got engaged. He added that there is a rich history of family connections on this property, making it a particularly meaningful and special place for Lauren.
In a video shared on their blog, Michelle (future mother-in-law of Lauren) expressed her affection by saying, “Lauren is truly a treasure to us.” Additionally, Jessa and Ben extended their congratulations along with treats in the shape of X’s and O’s. Teasingly, she indicated a sweet reward if they were to visit her, waving it as a token of consolation. She seemed to hint that they might want to wait for their first kiss on their wedding day, but visiting her would earn them this small treat.
In the summer of 2015, Marjorie Jackson and I had a romantic relationship, but it ultimately ended. Looking back, Josiah shared with People magazine in March 2016 that our time together was enjoyable, and we were both striving to follow God’s guidance. However, Marjorie felt that the timing wasn’t right for her, so we took a break from each other for a while.
On June 30, 2018, he and Lauren got married, describing their wedding day to People as “completely perfect.” Their first child, Bella Milagro, was born on November 8, 2019 – a name meaning “miracle baby,” given after the couple experienced a miscarriage in October 2018. They were blessed with another daughter named Daisy in 2022, and a son named Ezra in May 2023.
Ninth sibling Joy-Anna Duggar was born Oct. 28, 1997.
She had been friends with Austin Forsyth for fifteen years before he started courting her. After this, their relationship moved quickly – he popped the question in February 2017, and they tied the knot on May 26, 2017, at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas – the very same church where Joseph proposed to Kendra.
Joy-Anna and Austin were blessed with the birth of their son Gideon Martin Forsyth on February 23, 2018, their daughter Evelyn Mae Forsyth on August 21, 2020, and another son, Gunner James Forsyth, on May 17, 2023.
On the 30th of December, 1998, Jim Bob and Michelle welcomed their twins, Jed Duggar and Jeremiah Duggar, into the world as part of their second set of twins.
In the spring of 2021, Jed tied the knot with Katey Nakatsu, following a year of courtship. They are proud parents to their son Truett, who was born in May 2022, and their daughter Nora Kate, who came into the world in June 2023.
In July 2024, Jed and Katey revealed they were expecting twins, and their daughters, Elsie Kate and Emma Kate, arrived on the 8th of January, 2025.
Jeremiah, a qualified flight instructor, is married to Hannah Wissmann (sister of Jana’s husband Stephen). Together, they are the proud parents of daughter Brynley, born in December 2022, and daughter Brielle, born in February 2024.
They announced the arrival of their third daughter, Emery ‘Emy’ Jane Duggar, on May 18, 2025.
No. 12 Jason Duggar was born on April 21, 2000.
In January 2017, as reported by the Daily Mail, Jim Bob assisted Jase in purchasing a $33,000 property needing renovation located in Prairie Grove, Arkansas – approximately a 30-minute drive from the Duggar family’s main residence. Over time, he went on to establish his own construction company.
In May 2024, he made it public on Instagram that Maddie Grace was his girlfriend. They got married the next October.
Charmed No. 13, James Duggar was born July 7, 2001.
He doesn’t have a public romantic relationship yet, but he adores being an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
On his 19th birthday in 2019, mom Michelle praised James by saying, “James is like the beloved ‘fun uncle’ around here. All the younger boys admire him and aspire to be as resourceful as he is!” As a child, we would often discover James tinkering with household appliances, taking them apart, understanding their mechanics, reassembling them, and even adding some unique tweaks!
This year, James put in a great deal of effort to obtain his Commercial Driver’s License, and now he is highly skilled at handling large trucks and complex machinery. We are eagerly looking forward to discovering what lies ahead for him in the coming years!
No. 14 Justin Duggar arrived on Nov. 15, 2002.
In September 2020, he made their relationship known to the public with his partner Claire Spivey. They became engaged a month later in November and tied the knot on February 26, 2021.
With his older sister Jill, Jim Bob and Michelle welcomed their fifteenth child, named Jackson Duggar, on May 23, 2004.
On his sixteenth birthday, Michelle, Jackson’s mother, complimented his humorous side and mentioned that she was well aware of his eagerness to obtain a driver’s license.
On his 16th birthday, Michelle, Jackson’s mom, commended his sense of humor and acknowledged that she knew he was eagerly anticipating getting his driver’s license.
Johannah Duggar, as you might know, was born on October 11, 2005. This significant event was featured in a reality TV show titled “16 Kids and Counting: Moving In” since she is one of the numerous children from the original Duggar family.
Michelle penned down, on her daughter’s 15th birthday in 2020, “This girl is full of life and enjoys meeting new people. She’s such a joy to be around! Her little sisters idolize her, believing she’s as bright as the moon. I couldn’t feel more blessed, knowing that God picked me to be her mother!
Jennifer Duggar arrived on Aug. 2, 2007, then the baby of the family.
Their TLC show that premiered Sept. 29, 2008, was christened 17 Kids and Counting.
Now, OMG, she’s a teenager.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can attest that Jennifer embodies reliability, loyalty, and an infectious zest for fun! Michelle penned this when her daughter turned 13. The nieces and nephews simply adore Jennifer; she’s constantly cradling one of them because they refuse to be separated from their cherished auntie! Beyond her affinity towards family, Jennifer also harbors a deep affection for animals and diligently tends to her pets daily. Recently, she even took on the joyful challenge of nurturing a litter of 7 little bunnies!
Here on the right, the penultimate Duggar child was born Dec. 18, 2008.
2019 found Jordyn-Grace being described by her mother as an extroverted individual who easily forms connections with people, and whose laughter regularly adds radiance to our days.
As a devoted admirer, I’m sharing a heartfelt story about one of the Duggar family members – Josie. Born on December 10, 2009, she arrived three months early, tipping the scales at just 1 pound, 6 ounces. Due to her prematurity, she spent six long months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a testament to her resilience and the care she received during that time.
On her baby’s 11th birthday in 2020, Michelle remarked that Josie is like a burst of energy. She seldom takes a break, from the moment she starts her day to when she falls asleep at night.
