The news about the move emerged following Jace’s public allegation that his mother was acting unstable. Earlier in August, the teenager disclosed a string of private messages between himself and Jenelle, where she had written to him, “You seem to be the one threatening to take custody from me.

“F–K YOU,” the text read. “You won’t get a damn thing from me anymore including a phone.”

Jenelle, who is a mother to Kaiser (age 11) with her ex Nathan Griffith and Ensley (age 8) with her former partner David Eason, subsequently clarified that the controversial messages were misunderstood or misrepresented.

On August 19th, she expressed on her Instagram Story that her kids are the center of her universe. All her actions aim to safeguard, direct, and cherish them.

The 33-year-old stated that Jace has found himself in legal issues over the past couple of months. His response to appropriate discipline seemed to be sharing our personal messages publicly.

Jenelle noted that managing Jace’s diverse health issues, particularly his Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), can be challenging. Yet, she stressed her unwavering determination to ensure he receives the necessary resources, care, and emotional support.

On several occasions, Jenelle didn’t spend time with her son Jace. Instead, his grandmother Barbara Evans had been caring for him for over ten years prior to when she regained custody of him in the year 2023.

Subsequently, multiple times after Jace left Jenelle’s household, he temporarily resided with Barbara again. Moreover, the young man had a short stay with his father in Florida recently, and subsequently, he moved back to living with Jenelle.

Jenelle expressed her unwavering support for Jace, stating she’ll stay by his side through thick and thin. She also promised to keep striving to be the best mother possible for all her three children.
