Brittany Cartwright Dating “Wonderful” New Man Amid Jax Taylor Divorce

Brittany Cartwright is finding a new peak after the valley of her divorce.

A former cast member of Vanderpump Rules is in a new relationship, about a year after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor. They share a 4-year-old son named Cruz together.

Brittany’s costar on The Valley, Kristen Doute, revealed to People on August 21 that Brittany has someone extraordinary in her life who has captured her heart completely. According to Kristen, Brittany has dated individuals during her single years following her divorce, but none of them have been as remarkable as this new person. This individual is not only wonderful but also very cool and gives off a strong family vibe.

Apart from being 42 years old, he additionally disclosed that Brittany’s latest partner is also a parent. This adds an extra layer of relatability to their relationship.

“He’s a dad, so it makes it really easy,” Kristen explained, “a lot easier and understandable.”

Although Kristen did not disclose the name of Brittany’s new romantic partner, when asked about their seriousness, she playfully replied, “Time will tell.

The update on Brittany’s love life comes a month after she declared herself “single as a Pringle.”

On ‘Watch What Happens Live!’ in July, a 36-year-old shared that venturing into dating after separation and divorce felt strange. They admitted it wasn’t the simplest experience.

She mentioned, “I’m particularly aware of minor details since I need to keep an eye out for warning signs. I don’t want to find myself in a similar situation where I overlook issues, so I constantly choose to believe the good in people. After all, I always hope that someone will change.

Brittany, too, offered fresh insights about her ongoing separation from Jax, which has been lingering for a whole year since she initiated the process to dissolve their union in court.

Apparently, we missed the deadline for submitting our work. She mentioned that the due date was October 15th, so it seems something significant will occur then.

Regarding the co-parenting situation with Jax, Brittany described it as ‘terrible’, adding that they have absolutely no trust in each other at all.

Despite their differences, there is one point upon which they all seem to concur: Jax’s choice to depart from The Valley prior to season three, a decision that Brittany hailed as “wise” for everyone involved.

For the initial season of Vanderpump Rules, which aired in 2013, centered around the drama unfolding from Jax’s infidelity with Stassi in Las Vegas. Following his liaison with fellow cast member Kristen Doute during season two, the relationship between them ended permanently.

In 2017, a graduate from VPR started dating a casting executive who was still working on the show. After she was let go from the series in 2020, Stassi and Beau got married legally that same year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Their daughter Hartford arrived in January 2021.

In May 2022, the two of them had a formal wedding in Italy, and they became parents to their second child, a son named Messer, in 2023.

In 2015, Jax ran into Brittany after his split with Stassi. After weathering a scandal where Jax was unfaithful to Faith Stowers, one of their fellow cast members, he and Brittany tied the knot at a castle in her home state Kentucky in 2019. The special coverage of their wedding aired on Bravo soon afterwards.

In April 2021, a year following their departure from the series, Jax and Brittany joyously welcomed their first-born son named Cruz into their lives.

Regrettably, it was announced in February 2024 that they had parted ways, with Brittany relocating from their shared home. It wasn’t until August of the same year that she formally submitted divorce papers.

In 2013, during the third season of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana joined the cast following her split with Kristen Doute. From then on, Tom and Ariana became one of the show’s most steady couples for nine years. They purchased a home together, welcomed new dogs into their family, and even collaborated on a cocktail book.

Due to TomTom’s co-owner being well-known for his stability, it took many by surprise when news of his seven-month romantic involvement with a co-star broke in March 2023. This affair ultimately resulted in his split from Ariana.

Following the cheating incident, Tom attributes a decline in their closeness as one factor that drove them apart. Moreover, he admitted they were already separated by the time the cheating became public knowledge, despite confessing that he and Raquel shared their first kiss back in August 2022, well before Ariana found out about it.

Approximately a month following Ariana’s split from Tom due to his infidelity with Raquel, the reality star shifted focus to fitness trainer Daniel Wai. In April 2023, they were observed sharing affectionate moments and getting comfortable during the first weekend of Coachella.

They are still going strong over one year later.

After her divorce from ex-husband Mike Shay in 2017, Scheana met Brock in San Diego with friends in 2019. It was love at first sight between them. The couple then welcomed their first child together, daughter Summer Moon Honey, in April 2021 and later got married.

In the tenth season of VPR, Scheana and Brock’s Cancún wedding in August 2022 was broadcasted, but it wasn’t until the show’s April 2023 episode that she disclosed they had a secret legal marriage a full year before their destination ceremony.

In her 2025 memoir titled “My Good Side,” Scheana disclosed that the Australian athlete had been unfaithful to her in the year 2020 while she was pregnant. However, he did not confess until the 2023 Scandoval scandal unfolded.

In August 2016, a couple who’d been in a relationship for six years finally tied the knot. Yet, their rollercoaster romance was often featured on Bravo, and after numerous years marked by tension and quarrels, Katie reached her breaking point. After a 12-year partnership, she opted to end her marriage with the co-owner of TomTom in March 2022.

After maintaining a friendly relationship post-breakup, Tom’s kiss with Raquel in August 2022 effectively ended any possibility of continued friendship between them. In season 10 of “VPR”, Katie introduced her new romantic interest, actor Satchel Clendenin, although the two are no longer together now.

Tom is also currently single.

For a period of five years, James and Raquel were together and even became engaged, but they eventually parted ways in November 2021. Later on, the ex-beauty queen attributed their separation to James’ anger problems.

At the VPR’s ninth season reunion, broadcasted in January 2022, it was disclosed that James and Raquel had scarcely shared intimate moments during the two preceding years before their separation.

During season 3, James began dating Kristen Doute, but their relationship ended in 2015.

In just two months following his breakup with Raquel, James was seen with a new companion named Ally Lewber in January 2022. A little over a month later, they graced the red carpet together for their first official public appearance.

In a memorable moment, Ally first appeared on “Vanderpump Rules” during the opening episode of season 10. Later on, viewers watched as she and her partner decided to share a home together.

In December 2024, their relationship encountered a roadblock when James was apprehended for alleged domestic violence involving an unidentified individual. A month later, the ex-pair publicly announced their separation due to James’ legal issues, which unfortunately did not lead to any formal charges being filed against him.

 

In October of 2021, the actress and film producer who is also known for her role on Bravo ended their three-year relationship. Prior to their separation, they had a daughter named Ocean in March of 2021. Later, Lala attributed part of the breakup to Randall’s rumored infidelities, although he has denied any involvement in extramarital affairs.

In the tenth season of “VPR,” Lala admitted that she hadn’t been intimate since their separation. However, she re-entered the dating scene by engaging in a romantic encounter with a man while on a girls’ vacation at Lake Havasu.

Lala is currently still single and mingling, as is Randall.

Following her relationship with Jax, Kristen had an on-again, off-again romance with Brian Carter, which was depicted on the Bravo series. Later, she was with Alex Menache for two years until they parted ways in June 2022.

Kristen quickly found love again within the same month, meeting Luke Broderick. They crossed paths when they both served as bridesmaid and groomsman at a mutual friend’s wedding that summer, and have been together ever since. Not only do they share a romantic relationship, but Luke often co-hosts Kristen’s podcast titled “Love, Sex, and What Else Matters.

The pair announced their engagement in September 2024.

Kristina, a recurring character on the show since its second season, gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named River, with long-term partner Max Ville in March 2023. They’ve been a couple for more than a decade.

Schwartz ultimately decided to embark on a genuine long-term romance following his divorce, which began when he started seeing Sophia Skoro.
